This is a truly exceptional place to stay. Mary, the owner is a dream host. She cooks wonderful meals for breakfast and evening dinner, she sorts out your itineraries and is very knowledgeable of the area. Yuelu is 3 minutes from the park entrance. the room itself is lovely. I have traveled a lot and am hard pushed to find a better place to stay. Mary also has top tips on magical quieter places to visit and my word, they are worth it. I can’t speak highly enough.

It's located within it's own tea plantation, inside the Zhangjiajie national park.
Robin really helped us with planning our trip, tickets, bringing you to the sunset - sunrise spots, guiding you to the resort, etc.

1)I like the location where you enter the Zhangjiajie national park from the Yangjiajie entrance thus avoiding the huge tourist groups that tend to use the Wulingyuan entrance.
2) The young hosts Lucas and Eason were very helpful in helping with the routes to take and main attractions at the Park that was very helpful to individual traveller like me. Saves me great deal of time and effort. The even went out of their way to help me find a repairman to stitch back my shoes that unfortunately came apart.
