Everything! Check in was easy, letter left for us with our key. No fuss. The rooms are modern with big new bathrooms. Everything was so clean. The snacks in the room were great. The best of all, the breakfast. The selection was amazing. One of the best hotel breakfasts I've had.

Duncannon is a beautiful village on the South Coast with a beautiful sandy beach. It is ideally located to explore the area with both Waterford and Wexford only a short drive away. Hook Lighthouse is 20 minutes away by car and is a must for anyone visiting the area.

We were there out of season so the village was shuttered, but seems charming and atmospheric. The local pub was good. The 800 year old lighthouse was very interesting and we didn't go to the haunted house as it was around Halloween and we didn't want to tempt the ghosties. The ruined church was very interesting. The beach is lovely and the seaview amazing as are the drives in the vicinity.
Because the village was closed out of season we ate at home, but found everything we needed at SuperValu in Wellingtonbridge. My son had a small spot of car trouble but the garage there was able to help us. Parking at 10 Beachview was convenient and also in Wellingtonbridge and Duncannon village is within walking distance. I imagine in season all your needs would be met there.
We visited New Ross which is not far and the younger family members went on a car trip to Waterford and around to the other side of the inlet by road. All the local people we met were friendly. We loved our stay there.

Friendly: Quiet: Beautiful views across the bay: Long stretch of sandy beach: Helpful tourist info office: Welcoming pub serving excellent food & Ale & a hidden jewel in Duncannon Fort: Well worth the visit.
Beautiful property in an ideal location looking out on the beach and sea. We travelled as a group of 4 friends and this property was ideal for us. All 3 bedrooms are en-suite, with a huge en-suite connected to the master bedroom on the ground floor. During our 4 night stay we ate at Roches Bar and at the Strand Tavern - the food in both was excellent. Waterford and Wexford are only a short drive away, and a trip to Hook Lighthouse is a must if you choose to stay in Duncannon.
The house itself was comfortable and warm.It had every facility as advertised.Proximity to beach was a huge plus .
Duncannon beach is very safe and was real hit with the Grandchildren. Have absolutely nothing negative to say regarding the house or booking process .Would highly recommend the house ..Many thanks to Ciss and Tony.Unfortunately we didn't get to meet ,but we knew they were only a phone call away.

Absolutely spotless house. Really close to Duncannon and lots of things nearby. Well equipped and great contact from owner/agent. We left a small item behind and they were really obliging returning it to us.
We would definitely go back.
Great location looking over Duncannon beach. We didn't pay for a sea view room but enjoyed it whilst eating breakfast in the morning. Breakfast was tasty and the owner was helpful with local tips.
