It makes the job. For this price, don't expect something amazing. If you just look for a bed and a warm shower, then it's fine! The staff is kind. I also could park my bicycle in a safe place and protected from the rain.

I spent only 2 nights in Nagasaki and wish I'd had more time. It is a big city with much to see and do. Our ferry to the coal island was cancelled do to windy weather and we were called and refunded which was nice. We spend a lot of time at the museum and found it very interesting. We went to the port, where we saw the Queen Elizabeth boarding and had lunch at a nice Chinese restaurant very close on the 5th floor - very popular! There is a street for shopping for souvenirs very close too!
Nagasaki has much more than I saw and wish I can go again!

Nagasaki is a city full of history and charm.
Nagasaki is a city full of history and charm. I love the scenic view of Nagasaki port. People here are very warm and friendly, and it's a city full of nostalgic vibe. Besides that, Nagasaki Prefectural Art Museum has very modern and minimalistic architecture style. I like Champon a lot and have it almost everyday during my stay in Nagasaki.

A beautiful city which has unique history of being exposed to other countries, i.e. China, Netherlands, Portugal / Spain, England while the rest of the country was closed. It is also an important witness and victim of the A-bomb.
Don't forget to enjoy the view from Inasa yama.
Also, it offers various food options - shippoku-ryori can be eaten approximately 4000 per person if it is lunch.
We did not get to go to islands and Shimabara etc this time as well as House tembos....
It is a little hard to access by shinkansen now, but it was worth a visit.

The Night View is one of the best I've ever seen (second only to Hong Kong). We went up on the Rope Way, then discovered there was a Slope Car ascent as well--great for a return trip. The Dejima Wharf was a fantastic place to walk. The food in the restaurants around the city was wonderful. The trolley was fun, too.

A short stay like 2 days & 2 nights should be able to cover...
A short stay like 2 days & 2 nights should be able to cover all the major attractions in Nagasaki. Booked a hotel that provides onsen as it will be useful after much walking from one attraction to another. Buy the one-day tram pass and plan the number of attractions you can cover within the day or night... Then, have a good dinner at the Nagasaki Dejima Wharf... very good sashimi and must try the Uni Donburi!
I was greeted outside of the hotel by the manager which was a nice and unique gesture that I had only experienced years ago in Sapporo prior to this trip. Aside from being close to the station, the room was bigger than I expected. It had two beds, a desk (with wired Ethernet), a freestanding table, another little area where you could place belongings, a large TV, a couch, a small closet and a decently sized mini-fridge. There was also a very nice view from my room as well. I plan to stay here again if possible during my next trip to Japan.
The location is near the seaside pier and a ten minute walk to Chinatown. It's 11 minutes to the train station. The location is a nice central spot for Nagasaki. There's a loading area in front of the hotel, and they can direct you to parking around the block which was $11/night until 10 am the next day in a vertical automated parking garage. For the price of our night (less than $50) it was a fantastic deal and hotel for us to stay. The staff also spoke more than enough English to answer any questions we had.
The location was easy to find from the Nagasaki Bus Terminal, and the staff was very helpful with the check process (we contacted them via chat and they were very quick with the response). The room completely exceeded our expectations, the beds were spacious and lined with clean beddings, and overall, the atmosphere of the room was very good. If you are looking for a comfortable stay with your family and friends then I most certainly recommend this hotel.
first time in Nagasaki and no regrets in choosing this property! we had the BEST and prettiest breakfast! such a good night sleep because the bed was very comfy... well provided bathroom amenities and the staff are very helpful and friendly...
hotel's location is also perfect for all the top sights to visit... it is a stones throw away from the tram stations and beside it is the famous shop selling the castella pastries! yummy!
The location is very convenient, just a 5 minute walk to the bus terminal and less than 10 minutes to the railway station. The hostel is nicely decorated and has many brochures about sights to visit in Nagasaki and surrounding areas. Check in was easy and available in the after hours. Breakfast was delicious although not included in the price.
The massage chairsssss!! They were great and free! Staff were nice. Good experience of staying in a ryokan. Great view of Nagasaki from the bedroom. Good baths. The hotel provides a shuttle bus to/ from Nagasaki station. Breakfast was traditional japanese only, but the staff were kind enough to get us bread upon request.
The room was clean and comfortable with more space that the average hotel room, very clean and exactly as depicted in the online pictures. The rooftop Sento was wonderful, I used the outside bath at sunset and watched sheet lightning over the hills of Nagasaki before heading out for dinner
I had a price for the room with the view of the port and it was definitely worth it!
The room was spacious, the beds comfortables and we had everything we needed.
Shuttle bus are accessible from the Nagasaki station to the hotel and the other way around, which is very convenient.
The breakfast was great (Japanese style). My wife preferred western style and the hotel was happy to accommodate. Location was great for touring as the hotel is located two blocks from the tram and The Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum and Hypocernter.
Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff were super polite and helpful.
Location is a 5 min walk from the train station.
Breakfast was very good.
Fantastic value for money. Would book this hotel again if I visit Nagasaki in the future.
Everything was perfect, the hotel is located right in the heart of Nagasaki so it's not hard to find, the entrance hallway with the elevators is really cool, the lobby is beautiful, and the rooms are stunning.
The hotel is new and clean. Feeling comfy with the design. Room size is good comparing to the traditional Japan small size hotel. Breakfast is good enough. Hot spring area is clean and great! Value for money!
Hotel can be reached by 10-15 minutes walking or by taking tram from the Nagasaki train station. Shuttle bus service to Inasayama for the famous night view. Rich variety of breakfast dishes.
The best hotel in Nagasaki! The staff, the facilities, cleanliness, access to public transportation, etc., A go to place to stay on that side of Japan.
