Service and location excellent. Good dining room and reception area. Rooms a bit tired, the whole building needs an uplift, bathroom refitted with showers rather than bath and shower over. No opening windows on ground floor, just doors which are not secure at night.

we stayed in huge Napoleon III suite with excellent view from the top of the hill.
breakfast was very good (cheeses, hamon, baguets, croissants, eggs, tee/coffee/juice etc)
hosts are very friendly and helped us with local restaurants
property has big horse stables building converted into bar - it looks very authentic.
first floor is used as a museum where visitors can take tours (for people who are staying it is free).
we visited few chateaus and this is the biggest one, located in the small town

A perfect holiday apartment situated on an old farm which has been sensitively restored, the combination of old and new provides an unmistakable atmosphere.
