Fantastic dive resort with excellent staff. The service was top-notch from pickup throughout our stay. The in-house dive center offers up to 5 dives a day around the area with great dive masters. The location is clean, quiet, very well maintained and has a lush garden and nice swimming pool. The food is excellent, homemade and has different options. Breakfast is great.

It's a Divers thing.
It's a Divers thing. If you don't dive there is only the dark sand beach. Very crowded on weekends. Lots of loud ghetto blasters.
No night life except a couple of quiet bars on the main road. No food available after 10pm. Maybe if you're lucky a hotdog stand, but you have to look for it. She changes locations every few days.

Dauin is lovely- I would 100% come back here again and recommend to friends. It is nowhere near as busy as other places we visited on Cebu Island (malapascua, moalboal). The locals seem to care so much more about their coastline and the marine ecosystem- they have designated sanctuary areas where the coral and fish are amazing. There is also a rule that buildings must be more than 30m from the high water mark. The beach is nice - not much rubbish. Dark sand (which can get hot!) You can snorkel right off the beach - lovely coral, fish, turtles etc.
And the area is not too busy. Locals come here for picnics and its a really nice atmosphere.
Proximity to the beach and the House Reef just a walk off the beach is the best. Yancy and Boris were the consumate hosts providing us with transportation and great suggestions for a night out at Lokal restaurant just down main highway in Dauin. We stayed in the house, not one of the domes and we were very happy. Wi-Fi was strong and there is TV for those rare down time moments to watch movies and such. Staff service was excellent cooking great food and providing one more friendly encounter with the beautiful people of the Philippines.
Fantastic property with the best staff!
The huts were basic but clean and comfortable. The shared shower and bathroom facilities were great and perhaps the best “shared” facilities we had in the Philippines.
The staff are so nice and very accommodating. The restaurant had good portions and was tasty - lots of choices with good quality.
We did a dive/snorkel trip to Apo Island with the Resort and it was great - very accommodating and they took care of everything. We had the best time!
Great location, right on the beach, with easy access to dive boats and excellent snorkeling. Welcoming staff and a nice casual, friendly vibe among guests. Bungalows with bathrooms and porches very comfortable. Good casual cafes and restaurants within walking distance.
A nicely run dive resort with beautiful settings, right on the beach, helpful staff, good food. The room is decent. The dive master is very knowledgeable and the dive staff is extremely helpful, pretty much the best personalized dive experience we ever got.
The location and staff are unbeatable. Bongo Bongo is a short walk from the beach, snorkeling and scuba diving tours leave from this beach. The staff were friendly, informative, and created a vibe that contributed to a relaxing and interactive stay.
The location was great to access the beach and diving. Great snorkling as well. Nice style accomodation simple and confortable. The hostess was smily and helpfull. Perfect for us, had a very good stay.
Just a perfect place to stay near the beach, newly built and very authentic, the host Brigitte, is a wonderful kind and helpful lady. We really enjoyed our day and couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
Clean, staff were lovely, our favourite was Joyna. She greeted us a lovely smile and gave us a fantastic welcome tour. Awesome private location on a stunning black sand beach. Breakfast is awesome.
Wonderful location, right on the beach! For breakfast we could take a muffin or a bun, also a kitchen to use. The staff very helpful in arranging our trip to Apo island.
Nice ambiance, quiet at the dorm room. Near to small eateries and walking distance to the beach. They also have fun activities. Nice staff! Highly recommended!
Next to the beach and marine sanctuary. Wooden house that is open under the roof (cooling by the wind, but also has a fan). Very clean place and nice owners.
