I liked the Walmart and food places were all walking...
I liked the Walmart and food places were all walking distance from the Super 8. The town is quiet and very clean. We ate at Perkins cause we don't have one by us in Colorado anymore. We also had Sonic & Taco Bell. My daughter just moved here so we came to visit and everything was very easy to find.

Right in the middle of historic Kansas.
Right in the middle of historic Kansas. Santa Fe trail runs right through town. Cheyenne Bottoms, a migratory bird wetlands of international importance is just north of town, Quivira National Wildlife Refuge is 30 minutes south, Nice museum about area history.

There is little to do in Great Bend but we always try to...
There is little to do in Great Bend but we always try to stay there when traveling in KS. The Page Bistro has wonderful food and the staff is super friendly like you are family or go there often. They also have a Mr Burger! The one in our home town closed and we have missed it ever since. Their onion rings are the best, fresh cut fries are also great and burgers are fresh and good. Great experience.

I walked in the rooms and was immediately blown away by how clean and fresh smelling it was. It was very much inviting and spacious. Bathroom was clean and so was the sink area. Like I said, I've been to a lot of hotels, but this one was by far the best. I will definately be recommending this hotel to everyone I know who may be traveling through Great Bend.
