It’s charismatic and beautiful and staying there felt special. Sure it’s old and little worn out, but for me that’s exactly what made it special. This place has history and a lot of charm. Bilal, the owner is really kind, and naturally funny, and very generous. Mohammed, who works there is also very nice and Lilu is a sweetheart. Good vegetarian food, nice hot shower, beautifully decorated rooms. But the best, was the energy and laughs, you cannot put the price on that. Took us on a little tour on our Arrival day, he personally picked us up at the train station which was Amazing because it can get too overwhelming to be alone there. They have a tuk tuk driver in the hotel which makes it easy to arrange tours for the day like going to the rat temple.
