This family-run guest house in in Nordurfjördur village offers basic rooms in a converted barn, as well as modern self-service cottages. Krossnes Geothermal Pool is 1 km away. The fjord is a gem and the place is truly great. We hiked a bit and saw incredible sunsets. The host is very nice and helpful. We always choose this place when we come .There is also a nice pool not too far...one of the best.

Set in Hólmavík, Hótel Laugarhóll with natural hot spring has a garden, shared lounge, restaurant, and free WiFi. Guests can enjoy mountain views. At the hotel, each room comes with a desk. For anyone visiting the Northwest area of Iceland, this place was just beautiful. The idea of an outdoor pool, heated by a hot spring, and a smaller hot spring beside it was just a wonderful experience. A major plus was we did not have to pay much, unlike other properties, to use the pool. Breakfast was included in the price and was wonderful. I would recommend the dinner choice where you could sample all the delicious food. I'd love to live there :)

Situated in Drangsnes in the West Iceland region, Hvammur 1 with private hot tub features accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. Amazing little cottage in a beautiful location. Very bright inside because of many windows around the living room and kitchen area. Fully equipped kitchen and nice bedrooms and a bathroom.

Wonderful cottages, equipped with everything you might need to relax and enjoy dinner in a super nice environment. Hot tube was fantastic, cottages are spread far from each other; the views are unbelievable, a little paradise in the nature. The owners were super nice to give us a second cottage at a friendly price because the 2 bed room one was allready booked. On top, they allowed us to stay till 4PM as we had an unforeseen issue with out car. We will certainly come back!

Initially we got lost, but Hendrik navigated us here. He was so helpful. We arrived to a perfect cottage in a beautiful setting with everything we needed. It was super clean and perfect. The hot tub was already warm for us to jump in from a long day of sightseeing. We didn't want to leave. I would highly recommend this place because it is so relaxing and restful. You can hear the birds from the stream.

Hvammur 6 with private hot tub is situated in Hafnarhólmur and offers a terrace. This lodge has a garden and free private parking. The lodge offers a hot tub. Nice setting in the middle of nowhere. The private hot tub was very nice and easy to adjust the temperature. The cabin was small but fine for 1-2 people. Getting access with the lockbox code was easy. I wish I had planned for an evening meal as there was everything in the kitchen you may need.

Hvammur 4 with private hot tub (Fagurgali) is set in Drangsnes. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. The holiday home has a picnic area and a hot tub. The place is amazing. Idyllic for a couple, a tip would be to buy food beforehand and use the grill provided at the place. The surroundings are lovely and the place is super cosy. Hot tub was great too. Also, very clean place and well equipped! Great to relax and unwind!

Sunna's Guesthouse is located in Drangsnes and offers barbecue facilities. This guest house provides free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. simple but completely clean studio apartment with plenty of space for two people. It was warm and had a kitchen that was perfectly adequate to cook a meal. The bathroom was modern with a generously sized shower. There were two bathrobes as well as towels. It was quiet and with parking right outside. The house is up the hill from the harbour and it was a bit cold (snow everywhere) to walk to the hot pools on the shore so we took the car, but I would estimate a 10 min walk in summer.
