Set in Matsumoto, 5 km south from Matsumoto Station,L-BASE features free private parking. Kishinoyu Onsen and Utsukushigahara Onsen are a 20-minute drive from the property. The location was good with a free car park and quiet surrounding area. We travelled by car so it was very convenient to go anywhere from there. The room was clean with a hammock to relax. There was a coin-operated washing machine in common area with detergent. The kitchen was very good. The owner was so kind and gave my children small lovely chocolate chunks. We enjoyed our 3-night stay so much.

I opted for the light cleaning, since I'm not a messy person, and I was only staying for 4 days. The breakfast provided was also fantastic. Served in a buffet style, the hotel restaurant provided a variety of both Western style and Japanese style breakfast foods.

Soaking in a hot bath means a good night sleep. the breakfast provided was excellent. I feel i have been pampered.
