We arrived to a personal greeting for each member of our group. Gerda and Niekie were exceptional hosts. Their staff were very polite and accommodating as well. Their meals were good and the atmosphere was relaxed and warm. The rooms were very comfortable, spacious, and clean. The mattresses really comfortable. Lastly, their attention to detail was very good and they were also helpful in other ways too. Can recommend a stay here.

If you want to spend the first night or last night close to Windhoek, this is a great option. I would suggest to stay at least two nights to have time to participate in the various wildlife activities they offer on the premises. Corne met us with welcome drinks at the reception and gave us all the necessary information we needed for our stay. He and the rest of the staff have been very helpful and responsive. If you read my review you probably have read as well some other recent reviews, as I did and I almost cancelled my stay here. I'm so glad I didn't, because we had a wonderful stay, one night was just too short. The recent very negative reviews definitely don't do justice to this great place that has been created with a much deeper reason than just being a lodge. Don't expect a luxury lodge at the top end, but that is not what you are paying anyway. The cost is totally justified for what you get. We stayed in chalet number one, very convenient next to the main building with the restaurant, reception and common reading area. Our room was super clean and nothing was missing, everything well stocked, towels, coffee, tea and minibar. There are definitely no rats in the room, my guess is that some guests might have mistaken the rock hyrax for rats. It could happen if you leave the sliding windows to the deck open that some curious animals enter your room, the instructions to always close the doors is clearly marked, even baboons could enter and they could really mess around. But aren't the animals one of the reason why we come to visit Namibia? Just don't let them enter your room. We had a wonderful sunset horse ride which Cindy, the caretaker of the horses. She is very calm and did a wonderful job and her colleague prepared us a sundowner for our last sunset in Namibia out in the wilderness, amazing! The 4 course diner was delicious and so was the breakfast!

Featuring accommodation overlooking Auas Mountain, Trans Kalahari Inn is located 22 km from Windhoek Hosea Kutako International Airport. It offers an outdoor swimming pool, sports bar and free Wi-Fi. Staff was very accommodating- they gave us an extra room for free to fit our adult children comfortably. Delicious breakfast!

Murangi Travel Lodge offers accommodation in Windhoek. The property has an outdoor pool and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. Magdalena is the most hospitable host - so lovely She even supported us in Holding a barbecue with our family and friends in the beautiful lodge site 😍 Thank you so much 😊

The farm was so nice stop to relax after longhaul flight! This place is for those who loves animals! Staff was really kind, and made a lot efforts for us. Room was clean and we had a lot space. Set on a privat nature reserve outside of Windhoek, Onjala features outdoor activities like nature drives, bush walks and stargazing. All food provided was excellent. The pools were inviting and cooled your body as we did not have air-conditioning in our room. Staff were very helpful.
