Situato a 7 km dal Kruger Gate, l'Umkumbe Safari Lodge Riverside offre una piscina all'aperto, un centro fitness e sistemazioni climatizzate con patio e WiFi gratuito. This was our final stop in a 10 day trip around Kruger and the greater Kruger area and it was the absolute cherry on top of an amazing exploration. The location on the river is amazing and a dip in the pool looking out at passing wildlife is a true delight. What set this stay apart however was the game drives and our incredible guide Shannon. We were fortunate enough to be able.to see both wild dogs and in our final morning game drive two leopard cubs/eight months old. Shannon is one of the most knowledgeable and professional guides we have encountered in our travels around the world. Her capacity to find wildlife is remarkable and at the same time the respect she has for conservation.meant that we were able to see these rare creatures but without causing them stress. I would go back again in a heart beat and only wish we had been able to spend more time. Bed and room was comfortable. Food was plentiful and delicious.

A walking safari is combined with a late afternoon and after dark game drive. There aren’t many opportunities to do either one of these activities in Africa. Daryl, the camp manager and principal guide, is a real character in the best sense of the word. We thoroughly enjoyed his company and that of his assistant guide. Getting exercise on safari is not easy to come by and this four day three night trip really helped to overcome that problem. Daryl was a master at spotting game. We had lots of lion and leopard sightings. Seeing them at night was so cool.

Il Lion Sands Private Game Reserve vi attende nelle pianure africane, al calore della riserva di caccia Sabi Sand. Ranger Syd and Tracker Tony did a very good job, many thanks. The Service could be a little more attentive, but however, the service was very friendly. We feel very welcome and plan to return.

There is a private bathroom with shower in all units, along with a hairdryer and free toiletries. A continental or buffet breakfast is available each morning at the property. Soggiorno magnifico, tutti i pasti buonissimi, lo staff eccezionale, i safari bellissimi, i rangers tutti bravissimi e pronti a rispondere ad ogni curiosità, Piter number one! La struttura bellissima e molto accogliente, dalla piscina capita anche di vedere qualche animale come Nel nostro caso, giraffe ed elefanti, bellissimo.

Situato presso la porta Paul Kruger del Parco Nazionale Kruger, il Kruger Gate Hotel sorge sulle rive del fiume Sabie. The Kruger Gate Hotel was an excellent stay for us to explore the park's unbelievable wildlife. We spent there 4 nights, and I can only talk superlatives about this place. The staff is really kind, even though you can pre-book safaris, you will always have the option on the day before to change your mind (this is so clever! We clearly overbooked it...). The food is again amazing - they have great buffet for breakfast and dinner. The venues are jaw dropping. And the images, where you take a swim in their pool and meanwhile you see a bunch of elephants, so those imahes are REAL! I counted 8 elephants just under the time I jugged down a beer! The rooms are clean, and even though animal life is amazing - they are well kept outside your room. As a first timer, we really enjoyed the comfort of this hotel and the great safari offering they have on the menu. I wiuld definitely recommend it, and hope to return soon!
