We stayed a night at Posh Pads, and I think you will be hard pressed to find better value for money for accommodation in Liverpool. For almost half the price of a four-star hotel, you get a full apartment with a separate living room which usually includes a kitchenette with all the appliances you need. It's great for families (especially if you intend to or need to do some cooking), and for longer stays as the apartments come with a washer. The service is largely excellent, and the apartments are clean. The beds are comfortable and the location is marvellous.

Open Key Apartments is set in the RopeWalks district of Liverpool, less than 1 km from Philharmonic Hall, a 12-minute walk from Albert Dock and 1.2 km from Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral. Everything was excellent! Very quiet street from a walking distance to the streets with bars, shops, etc. I think I got an upgrade. Apartment was very clean with all the basics needed for cooking a meal.

Set in Liverpool, Staycity Aparthotels Liverpool Waterfront has well-equipped accommodation featuring free WiFi, 100 yards from Pier Head and 650 yards from Albert Dock. The accommodation has everything needed for a short/long stay. You can cook yourself a nice meal if you like it or you can order in the hotel's restaurant. The bathrooms are spacious enough and the shower cabin is one of the biggest I've seen since staying in hotels. The room is very cozy and is being heated in a proper manner thus you won't feel the cold in the winter or from the sea breeze. Overall the accommodation made a good impression on us and made us stay at the same hotel but in another city when the time comes.
