We were surprised at how the kitchen was equipped with utensils, plates, bowls and anything you needed to cook with, even tho we didn’t cook it was nice option to have. Always handy to have a fridge, microwave and toaster oven handy. Able to eat as soon as we got up to get our day going, and always had snacks ready for our late night cravings. The size was great, having travelled with 3 kids. It was clean. Location was great! We would love to come back again and for sure will come stay here!

Excellent location, 300m from metro (Kyoto bus w/luggage is a pain) so station is easy. Imperial palace is next door. Silent street. Host is friendly, room is indeed spacious, furnished tastefully. Lots of wall sockets. Microwave, fridge is good to have. Openable window, balcony.

The ambience and decor of the place is super amazing.. it definitely has a touch of architect.. so well planned the reception area with contemporary modern furniture.. room size was marvellous.. owner was so helpful and assisted us with all our queries.. bonus/icing on the cake was the free ice creams in the fridge which our 15 months old daughter loved everytime we got back from our day visit.. very accesible to metro, restaurants, shopping streets and super market.. best place we stayed in entire japan considering we have also stayed in osaka and tokyo few times.. dont miss out on this one if it is available.. jus book it with eyes closed

Kyo no yado en ligger 7 minuters promenad från Kiyomizu-dera tempel i Kyoto och erbjuder boende med luftkonditionering och gratis WiFi. Our host/staff Yutaka-san was exceptional. He was very very kind and friendly, and explained the room with very good details. He also helped in calling the taxi for us after checkout. Highly recommend as he can accommodate guests in English.

Went the next day to cancel as it was near by. Spoke to reception was were friendly and cancelled without any fees or questions. More then impressed. Looed like a great place to stay. Convenient location.

The bed and the pillow are super comfortable, the staff is very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend to stay in R&Run Kyoto, and i will definitely choose this again when i come back to Kyoto.
