Alonso was available anytime to answer queries about the apartment. The apartment was cleaned to a very high standard. The apartment had great facilities. Great shower and an equipped kitchen. The pool is perfect.

The property was absolutely perfect! Secluded but accessible and the perfect oasis for a couples trip. All the cabins face the jungle so it’s private, and the pool is the perfect size and temperature.

Very beautiful property away from the hustle of the town but very close to everything. Immaculate landscaping! The small house was very clean and comfortable. Pinto is a very sweet dog who sits with you on the porch or goes on a hike with you from the property. Everything about this small house was perfect, even a nice, hot shower! Hiking trails from the house were well marked. I saw a poison dart frog! Howler monkeys and toucans were seen from the porch.

If you're staying at La Muñequita Lodge, you are not just booking a random place to sleep : you are experiencing probably the most authentic and amazing experience in Costa Rica ! You'll be sleeping in a wooden caban, handmade, opened so you'll be litteraly sleeping amoung the flowers, the trees, the birds (red macaws, toucan...) ! Dont worry tho, there's light, fresh water, toilets, a great shower and everything you need ! It's an enchanted garden where you have all the privaty and the calm you'll need ! The hosts are the nicest : they'll be giving you a tour of the farm, you'll be casually learning about local trees, fruits, eating fresh tropical fruits directly from the trees, you'll meet the cows, goats and their babies : if you're lucky enough as we were, you'll be milking the goats, feeding the babies ! Such a precious, magical and unforgettable moment for us... For the dinner, if you want it, they'll cook for you a delicious, consistent local meal, wich you'll be eating at their table, meeting the others tourists : such a precious moment too ! For the breakfast : traditional coffee, pancakes with syrup or if you are not tired of it : pinto gallo :) The pancakes were just delicious ! Everything was good, the location, the apartment has Everything you need, the pool was excellent the only thing is the payment, at the end I paid the same amount you see in booking but in the app is not clear that it won't make the transaction so you when you speak with the host they explain to you that they can't make the transaction from booking so you have to pay in cash, sinpe o make the transaction from your bank which is not bad at all but you have to make additional steps.

The hosts were warm and welcoming and available to assist with recommendations and questions. The property is well off the beaten path but a $5.00 cab ride to town and a short walk to a gorgeous beach. Exactly what we wanted!!!

Amazing place, spotlessly clean, great smell, friendly staff that goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. Towel change and oprional cleaning every 2 days. They clean the pool every morning. Overall amazing! The beach is very close, vast and there are miles and miles of sandy beaches at you disposal. You don't wanna leave.
