Friendly welcome and attention staff. Very comfortable rooms and lovely shower. The children loved the room and bunk beds. Some comments mention noise from the bar but we didn't find this a problem.

Excellent accommodation in small en suite room in what was formerly the stables for the Inn. Parking by the room. Very friendly pub with good beer. Smashing breakfast. SPAR shop directly opposite. Highly recommended.

This is such an amazing place! Lovely hosts! The location and position is just so peaceful - the hut is outstanding and soooo beautiful! But...the donkeys...WOW...just a sheer joy to be around!

Boasting a spectacular countryside setting, this charming farmhouse provides a peaceful rural retreat, just 7 minutes from the A1(M).
Easy to find, fantastic and peaceful location. Ample parking space in the yard. Very friendly welcome and tour of the appartment, with spacious living room and kitchenette, King size bed, and bathroom equipped with both bath tub and shower! Access to Garden terrace with wonderful views over the fells and plenty of tourist info and advice for the immediate and surrounding areas. Also have to mention the very tasty, home-made Victoria Sponge welcome cake and fresh eggs waiting for us upon arrival. All in all, everything you could wish for, for a very peaceful and relaxing weekend away from the stress and bustle of modern life, but still with plenty of attractions and towns to visit (including Beamish), just a stones throw away.

Gorgeous B & B in a lovely village location. The delicious breakfast was all local produce. Only a few minutes drive or bus ride from Durham

We had a great 2 nights stay. Food and room really good and staff were all lovely and friendly.

Everything was great, a very nice hotel, comfortable, cozy, and very clean rooms. the bed smells good, everything is very clean and tidy. We needed to use the steam room. We notified the hotel about this and they provided us with an ironing board and a new steam iron.!☺️
