We had a wonderful stay at Casa do Mar. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Relaxing atmosphere and beautiful view of the sea and Faial island on one side, and of Mount Pico on the other. Hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Ideal location - walkable distance from Madalena center and from several natural pools, and a 10-minute drive from the airport. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. Wish we could have stayed longer. Would absolutely recommend!

The perfect location in the heart of Madalena. Easy walk to restaurants, grocery, etc. Parking easy to find near by (April). Our room was the top floor apartment, which was more spacious than anticipated. The kitchen was well supplied and the couch plus sitting area allowed for space to relax. Our host was very welcoming and provided good recommendations for our time on the island. Wifi worked well for video calls. We would stay again!

Wonderful home. Everything was very special, the owners Petra and her partner offer really quality wonderful stay (what a lovely breakfast). Common spaces are fantastic and private ones are just great. Beautiful, comfortable, clean and friendly place. Great views on Pico mountain ansd the sea. Environmental friendly. You feel part of a community without loosing privacy. We were really happy there. Thank you!

Sarah (the host) was super friendly and prepared every day warm breakfast for us and took care of all details in the room. Also the terrace when sunny days have an amazing view!

The accommodation and its location were fantastic. Just a few meters away from the sea. A direct view of the sea in front, and looking behind, one can directly see Mount Pico, the volcanic mountain. The house was very clean. The kitchen had everything one would need. There were several capsules available for the Nespresso machine (including decaffeinated ones). There's a large refrigerator with a freezer compartment. Independent check-in was facilitated, and they were quick to respond to questions. If needed, laundry can be picked up and washed (no washing machine available in the house). If desired, one can use the barbecue area in front of the house. There are ample parking spaces in front of the house. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which was great. There's also a TV, though it's not visible in the photos. Note: One should consider renting a car and doing the main grocery shopping in a bigger city beforehand. There are small stores nearby, but they are somewhat pricier. However, we can definitely recommend the Cafe/Restaurant CAMPO RASO, which is about a 15-minute drive away.

Fresh facilities and super nice host. Our stay didn’t turn out as planned due to private reasons, but Dalila and Brian did everything in their power to help and accommodate us. Super sweet and loving couple. Generous. I would recommend everyone to stay here.
