We could park our bicycles safely in a locked garage. We made our own dinner and breakfast. You can also order food. We didn’t realize that when we booked. Very quiet. We slept very well.

The rooms (I have stayed there twice) are fantastic and excitingly decorated. Everything feels brand new and everything is in top condition and perfectly clean. The staff is accommodating and friendly. The breakfast room is adjacent to the fantastic Japanese garden outside. The breakfast is good and you can have breakfast very early in the morning, which is not possible in all hotels. All in all, you feel very much at home and you sleep well because everything is so quiet around you. Nearby there is a supermarket and a kebab restaurant which are perfectly fine. There are probably more that I haven't discovered, but you can get by with these two shopping places and it's not far to Herning.

The breakfast was very nice and included many options. I was able to take one of the buns with me for later in the day. The location is best if you can bike, or drive.

Offering inner courtyard views, Boes Bed & Breakfast is an accommodation set in Skanderborg, 30 km from Train Station Arhus and 30 km from Aarhus City Hall. Cosy cottage in a picturesque small village not far from Skanderborg. Lovely location, peaceful and quiet. Nice walk down to the nearby lake. All in all a great place to stay.
