The breakfast was exceptional, the room was very comfortable, and despite the B&B being on the outskirts of Armagh it only took about 15 mins to walk into the centre. Delicious, hearty breakfasts. Comfortable, spacious room with wardrobe, drawers, table and chair, TV with USB port (saved me when my phone charger didn’t work!), hairdryer, and exceptionally clean en-suite bathroom. Toasty warm despite cold weather; my room had its own adjustable radiator. Host struck the perfect balance between enjoyable conversation and professional discretion, as I’m sure she has struck a different – and still perfect – balance with other guests. The host graciously removed my baby-related waste each day. I had my own key to allow me to come ‘home’ any time.

Shanroe Accommodation, a property with a bar, is located in Mullaghbane, 15 km from Louth County Museum, 27 km from Carlingford Castle, as well as 45 km from Monasterboice. Couldn’t fault the apartment at all.. the host was so polite.. room was very clean & cozy! the bed was so comfortable we had the perfect nights sleep. All the little treats left for breakfast was a beautiful touch thank you we will definitely be back!

Offering garden views, Lismore House is an accommodation situated in Newry, 48 km from Monasterboice and 49 km from Jumping Church of Kildemock. The location was very good. It is just about 1/2 mile off the expressway. Easy to get to. There is a small sign on a post. The B&B is located at the end of a street at the top of a hill with fantastic view. It is quiet and very little traffic. The room was very clean and well layed out. I found it very enjoyable!

Such a lovely home and hostess in the idyllic Irish countryside! Dorothy was a delightful "innkeeper," and the comfy suite was the perfect end to a long day of traveling. Breakfast was prepped to a T to send us off the next day.
