One of the nicest stop over places I've ever stayed. Perfect in every way. Comfortable, convenient, would recommend it, and hosts are really welcoming too. Always travelled down south and back without stopping over!! Not any more now we have found this gem of a place.

Offering a garden and mountain view, Altskeith Country House is set in Aberfoyle, 10 km from Loch Katrine and 15 km from Lake of Menteith. Full Scottish Breakfast was wonderful. Allison, the owner was very efficient and made us feel at home.

Situated 10 km from Crianlarich, Innishewan Farmhouse features accommodation with free WiFi and a garden. If you would like to discover the area, hiking is possible in the surroundings. Friendly welcome from host, extremely clean all through the building and the room, including the bathroom. Beautiful location with walks around the property and up into the hills if you want. Excellent breakfast, I had a full Scottish fried breakfast and its was as good as Ive ever had, even in top hotel restaurants. Very comfortable and good nights sleep in a quiet location, its close to the main road but not within hearing distance.
