We booked this very last minute as we were visiting a friend in St Annes for new years eve. The location was perfect for this. Also perfect that it is dog friendly, it was also a very short walk to the huge beach for a dog walk. The B&B entrance was beautifully decorated for Christmas and was a very warm welcome, also by the staff. The breakfast/lounge area was also very comfy and beautiful. Breakfast itself was also very tasty and we liked that you could get two courses for example a fruit platter then a cooked breakfast. We had two single rooms as we booked last minute. Both were comfortable with a good bed and shower.

A beautiful venue set in bucolic farm land next to a canal amongst a lovely garden. A 1787 approx building modernised but with all the oldie touches. Very comfortable, a very nice host and a huge breakfast. We couldn’t ask for better.

We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly and warm ambience provided by the team and food. The bed is so comfortable and accommodations are very tidy and clean. The food is delicious and obviously made of great quality all the way around.

The location is about two miles outside Gisburn where there are good places to eat. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was superb.

We stopped there on our way to Scotland. So, off the M6 , quiet spot with a nice pub near a canal at 5 minute’s walk. The room was immaculate and comfortable. Angela is welcoming and discreet at the same time. Pity we couldn’t have breakfast in her lovely garden.
