The George Inn is a 14th century inn and Plaine is a 16th century building located immediately opposite The George, situated in Norton Saint Philip. So much character in this idyllic setting! It is an old inn, so there is no air conditioning, but we had a fan and two windows so we could create a breeze in our room. The food was outstanding and the service beyond reproach. Lola made our visit extremely enjoyable; she was attentive and really enhanced our experience. The gardens are lovely, as is the walk to the old church yard.

Offering a restaurant, The Greyhound Inn is located in Staple Fitzpaine. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a TV. Charming property, wonderful staff. Large rooms, nice bathroom, immaculately clean and well prepared. Very quiet at night for a good night's sleep. I took all my meals there - lunch, dinner and breakfast, all good. My friends tell me they serve excellent beer but I don't drink! Not difficult to find and plenty of parking. Good value.

The Bower Inn is an 18th-century building, located just off the M5 motorway and 2 miles from Bridgwater town centre. It offers stylish rooms with luxury bathrooms and delicious homemade food. Very nice and cosy, friendly staff, ideal for exploring around Somerset. We had a lovely time.

Boasting garden views, Glastonbury Hideaway features accommodation with a garden and a terrace, around 43 km from Bristol Temple Meads Station. A place to unwind with a beautiful view, as the name of the accommodation also suggests, a little hideaway. Everything I needed was present, a comfortable warm bed, big cups of tea, silence, privacy and the owner's helpfulness when I needed it. I felt at home, it's definitely my favourite place when I'm in Glastonbury. Everything is nearby for sightseeing and to experience.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Crookes House is a recently renovated guest house situated in Weston-super-Mare, 1.1 km from Sand Bay Beach. Great breakfast, room comfortable, hosts friendly and welcoming. Separate Living room available for guest use. Good parking. Property situated close to good walks and local bus.

Located in Cheddar, the recently renovated The Old Police House offers accommodation 27 km from Ashton Court and 29 km from Bristol Temple Meads Station. Very warm and lovely welcome from Lyn. The Old Police House is a very special place, small but there‘s everything you need. Comfortable bed, cooking place, fridge… Lyn recommended us a few good places to go out and have diner, within walking distance. We would really come back once. Thank you Lyn for your kindness and helpfulness.

Located in Weston-super-Mare and only 1.1 km from Weston-Super-Mare Beach, All Seasons Bed & Breakfast - Adults Only provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. I would like to say the avocado toast from the breakfast

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Maplestone is a recently renovated bed and breakfast situated in Shepton Mallet, 29 km from Bath Spa Train Station. The host was very welcoming, inviting us and other guests to have complimentary coffee and cake in the beautiful garden. he was very knowledgable about the local area and gave us some excellent recommendations

Greenlands Guest House, a property with a garden, is situated in Highbridge, 47 km from Ashton Court, 47 km from Bristol Zoo Gardens, as well as 48 km from Bristol Cathedral. Everything we needed was there and spotless, car parking and our host went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Lovely couple thoroughly recommend

Boasting garden views, The Potting Shed, self contained, detached retreat in Shapwick village offers accommodation with a garden and a terrace, around 44 km from Ashton Court. We absolutely loved everything! Since the first moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed by Mathew, we felt at home. The potting shed is so lovely decorated, and it had everything we needed for a cozy stay. The bed and pillows are so comfortable, and the view of the room is so nice. I felt o could live there :) .. To finish our wonderful stay, breakfast was DELICIOUS!!! From homemade bread, to homemade muesli cereal!! And healthy salmon, eggs and fresh spinach from the garden!!! Mathew asked us if we wanted salmon or bacon, I felt this was very special that we could choose. The table was so beautiful decorated, even with a candle and a peaceful view to the garden. We enjoyed EVERYTHING! Also, we had great conversations and left full hearted! RECOMMEND 100 % and we’ll stay again if we come by in the future! Thank you, Mathew
