No cooked breakfast but was for us the best of breakfasts: fast, plenty of healthy and fresh choices (excellent cold salmon), thoughtful gluten-free offering in response to our request in advance. Very good location, a couple of blocks from town center yet quiet, a bit uphill with a nice view of the harbour. Roomy bathroom with lots of natural light. Excellent, charming host.

The location is fantastic with magnificent views over the rolling green landscape. This is a small castle. It’s charming and stunning at the same time. Loved the morning walk in the pristine surroundings. Old trees, rhododendrons, fields with grazing thoroughbreds. Very homeish feeling. Spacious rooms and real Irish breakfast (perfect fuel for the day’s hike). Wonderful staff, when you need something, otherwise we actually had the place for ourselves which was great. We bought our own drinks and food and could use the facilities in the kitchen and dining room. Don’t miss this gem❣️

Situated in Skibbereen, in a historic building, 8.4 km from St Patrick's Cathedral, Skibbereen, Stone Barn is a recently renovated guest house with a garden and terrace. Cozy old stone barn renovated to perfection. Friendly hosts, great breakfast and five cats plus one dog made the stay unforgettable.

The house was so clean and fresh and everything felt new. The attention to detail was fantastic.
