Rooms were very clean and the building was newly renovated. The attached pub turned into a nice community gathering spot at night with lots of drinking options on tap!

Everything was neat and tidy and everything was there that we needed. The host was very friendly and also entertaining.

Situated in Claregalway and only 10 km from Galway Greyhound Stadium, Claregalway Castle features accommodation with river views, free WiFi and free private parking. We had booked a room in this beautiful castle for one night. The room we first had seemed e a bit small, especially the bed was short for my tall husband. We asked for another room and we were moved into a wonderful farmhouse in the courtyard of the castle. So we had a superior accommodation in two floors including living room with fireplace, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It was beyond expectations! The personnel in the castle was very nice and helpful and breakfast was also very good in a gorgeous milieu.

Breakfast was a full menu and delicious. It included cereals, fruit, full English and pancakes. Well prepared and great service.
