Lynster House provides rooms in Milltown, a 3-minute drive from Monaghan. The property is situated 10 km from Castle Leslie. Both private parking and free WiFi are accessible at this property. great location not far from Monaghan town. very homely and welcoming. our host Liz was just fantastic. She’s a lovely person and has loads of knowledge of the local area.

Offering a garden and garden view, Grove Lodge B&B is situated in Monaghan, 12 km from Wildlife & Heritage Centre and 300 metres from St Macartan's Cathedral, Monaghan. Everything was perfect, Host was wonderful and really lovely. I was at the Hilgrove for a wedding and it’s literally next door for a fraction of the price.

Grangeview House B&B is set in Monaghan, 43 km from Enniskillen and 48 km from Newry. Free WiFi is available and free private parking is available on site. It was THE BEST — and only — full Fry (authentic Irish brekkie) I had while on-island.

Opposite the Beechill College, The Meadows Bed and Breakfast is just 2 minutes' walk from the Hillgrove Hotel and 8 minutes' walk from Monaghan town centre. Free WiFi access is available. Nice people. Shower was hot with great water pressure.

In the heart of the town of Monaghan, the family-owned Ashleigh House offers free WiFi. Guests can enjoy access to the garden and outdoor patio area. There is also a communal TV lounge. Great experience. The owner greeted me right away upon arrival. The owners were very friendly, accomodating and helpful. The room was clean well decorated and everything is good working order. The room and bed were comfortable and the bedding, shower, sink, and room, were spotless. I had a room on the top floor and it was very spacious and quiet. The temperature of the room was just fine. The breakfast every morning was delicious. I had the Irish breakfast both mornings and both were excellent. The rooms are moderately priced and they are a very good value. The location is a 15- minute walk to the bus and right in the center of Monaghan. There are many restaurants and shops in the immediate area. I would book there again and highly recommend staying there.

The 4-star Killyliss Country House B&B is surrounded by countryside and lakes. It is less than 20 minutes' drive from both Cavan and Monaghan and it offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. Wonderful place, clean rooms, confortable bed and good breakfast.

Super value for money, warm welcome from the lovely host family, very comfortable beds, great shower, excellent breakfast, funny cats and lovely dog. Convenient location within walking distance along lake Muckno to the Main Street in Castleblaney with a selection of cafes, shops and bars. A 5min drive to the Restaurant “The View“ which has a stunning outlook over the lake and fantastic food. We would highly recommend staying here. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Breakfast was outstanding with lots of variety. Theresa was very accommodating and picked us up by car and shuttled us back and forth to Monaghan where we had scheduled a plant visit at CombiLift. We had a delightful time with her and the owner of the home where she is running the B&B. The view from our window overlooked the lake and we were overwhelmed by the beautiful landscape. We would highly recommend staying at this location if someone is looking for a unique experience. Nothing like Irish hospitality.
