It can be described in simple terms: Fantastic!!! We have traveled the world and stayed at many different places. This certainly come in top five, if not three. It had sooo much charm and spirit. We cannot recommend this place enough. Every room is unique with its own expression. Even the small pool has its charm. We’ll go that far to say, that even the hotel itself is worth a visit to Tyre. Not that Tyre doesn’t have its own reasons for a visit, it certainly have.

Dar Camelia offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi in Soûr, less than 1 km from Tyre Archeological Site. All units feature air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. The hotel is in a beautiful old villa-style building in a gorgeous, quiet part of the city. We could walk five minutes through pretty, winding stone streets and find ourselves at the harbor. It felt safe and quiet. Breakfast was amazing and huge, in a garden downstairs. The room was very big and beautiful with an especially amazing bathroom. Everything was clean!

The room was secluded with a beautiful view of the woods. There was a wood burning fireplace, which was very handy for the cold night. The property is just a few mins from Jezzine old town and is in a quiet and reserved space in the middle of nature. Breakfast was tasty and in large portions. Staff was very friendly.
