Near enough to the main street but far enough that you'll have a good view. We had a big room for the price and all the amenities were complete. Really had a great stay here! People are nice and check in and check out was easy and fast. Hot shower and water pressure are good. Wifi is fast, the tv has a lot of channels, and also has complementary soymilk and sandwich. You can easily ask for advice on what time the street stores close and open. Was able to maximize our stay by going around before all the crowds came in.

The property is perfect in every way, it’s like stepping into a completely different world. It creates a vibe that you live in the “spirited away” world. The location is super convenient, I walked to the old street in less than 10 minutes and you get to enjoy the quiet little town all by yourself before the tourists get in in the morning and after tourists leave at night. The host is super helpful when you need anything, you can also book day tours and massage to the room with the host. I’m extremely terrified of bugs, because this is in a forest and I was traveling by myself, that was a concern. But I didn’t encounter anything in my two nights of stay.

The property is close to a mountain so it is quite fresh and the little terrace is lovely to enjoy in the morning or evening. Breakfast was quite standard but still ok.

Overall room was extremely relaxing with great view, agree with another reviewer who said that some of the best views are from the BnB so I didn't need to eat in town often - just brought food back and relaxed, read a book and enjoyed the views.

Great location in Jiufen! Clean room and such welcoming and kind hosts! We had the terrace room which has lovely views of the mountains.
