Tea, coffee, popcorn and baked snacks were provided. We both had colds and did not want to spread it at breakfast but look forward to our next visit to enjoy the full experience.

The beds are amazingly comfortable. The breakfast had all we could have imagined. We even got to know the amazing family and felt like visiting friends. The surrounding is like staying in a park. There is a wildlife place just behind the house. It is extremely quite. There is a white sanded beach on a beautiful lake close by. The owner also arranged for us to harvest blueberries close by & gave us tips for our stay at Cape Cod. This is heaven. I wish we would have planned on staying longer

Truman Gillet House B & B is set in Granby, 22 km from University of Hartford, 25 km from Elizabeth Park, as well as 27 km from The Big E. My boyfriend and I absolutely loved our stay! We had everything we needed, the interior is exactly what I'd hoped for, easy check in, delicious breakfast, very cute dog, and last but not least kind, helpful and friendly hosts with whom we had interesting conversations with. Thank you and we hope to be back in the future!
