Situated in Newtown, 5 minutes’ drive from Ballyvaughan and Galway Bay, The Waters Country House boasts over 40 acres of farmland at the foot of the Burren Hills. Ailwee Cave, also featuring an underground river and a waterfall, is only 3km from the property. The breakfast was delicious, and I loved the Granny Flat too. Both Wolfgang and Maria were lovely hosts. I'm definitely thinking of going back either later this year or in May of next year.

Everything you could need is there: a walk-in closet where to put bags, bathroom things (shampoo, conditioner, bodysoap and extra thing if you missed something), TV, sofa, an extra large bed, a tea or coffe corner: everything! Trisha is a fantastic owner and can prepare for you a delicious Irish breakfast; you can also get advice from her where to go for your trip (very close to Cliffs of Moher for example). Trisha we loved your home and we hope to come back soon!!
