Location is really great and view from the apartment is wonderful. Salzburg is just 25 mins drive from here and Hallstatt just 1 hour. The owners of the house is so warm and friendly, he gave eggs from his farm after our arrival. And also kept welcome drinks for us. The house is very beautiful. We feel like home. And the owner has a pizzaria within 300 meters of the house, the pizzas were great too.

The location is not on a main thoroughfare so it is a hidden jem with lots of things to do nearby - rivers lakes, hiking and bike riding and skiing in winter - This place has everything! There is a resturant in Hintersee that is also worth a visit - everything here is family run and in this world - you cannot beat this!S. J.Netherlands

We got an amazing appartment with a fully equipped kitchen, seating in the garden full of roses and a comfortable bed. Everything was clean and tidy. The location must be great for cycling. The closest lake (Hintersee) is approx. 5 km from the appartment. Othwerwise Faistenau has a bigger supermarket, bakery and a few restaurants.

Clean, quiet and functional rooms, with good internet, and comfortable beds. Great location in Faistenau - walkable to cross country skiing, ski rental shop, restaurants, and bus stop nearby. Forty minute bus ride from Salzburg - bus 155.

The guy in the morning at breakfast was so kind and friendly as well. The guesthouse is pretty standard: warm, comfortable, lived-in--very different from your corporate hotel chain experience. The area is beautiful as well.

The room has normal size, it is very clean with a very beautiful balcony, a small and clean bathroom. Breakfast is really good with sweat and salty meals.
