I booked this hotel as I was en route to Obergurgl Ski resort and wanted an overnight stay nearby. It was perfect. Huge quiet room with excellent breakfast. The bonus is the restaurant on site with pizzas or traditional Austrian dishes. It was full on a Friday night, which tells you something about the food. I was surprised that the hotel was not rated higher on booking.com.

If you are a biker this is morethan recommended! you also get a covered parking only for motorbikes. however, this is also recommendable if you are not a biker!.

There is nothing much to do if you visit during winter because all the activities are closed like Rafting, Canyoning, mountain climbing etc.
If you wanna find a good restaurant you have to go nearby places like 15km away.

Haiming is a gorgeous little town on the Inn River.
Haiming is a gorgeous little town on the Inn River. Locals are friendly and speak English for travellers like us who spoke very little German. Wherever you look, there are spectacular views - with church steeples and castles dotted throughout the landscape. Easy to explore the stunning Tyrol region from Haiming.
Loved visiting Oetz nearby, and taking the cable car up to Mt Hochoetz. Adventurers can experience the fast flowing Inn River with any number of rafting companies.
Location is excellent for those seeking to visit multiple ski areas in this part of Austria without the higher cost of staying at an actual ski resort. Property is dated in style (1970s) but neat, clean, functional and pleasant. Run by a family including the restaurant on ground level who are very pleasant and accomodating. Excellent breakfast included with good selection. Ate at restaurant 2 nights and food was hearty and good value. Easy free parking right in front of hotel
We had a flat tire when parking the car at the hotel. As it was late Saturday night, we had a lot of trouble finding a place to repair the tire and getting an alternative car. John, the hotel owner offered us to use his car for the next 2-3 days to get the repair done. What an incredible nice gesture!!! Couldn’t be more amazed about this about this hospitality. A true 10 out of 10!!

Cute cabin with five single beds. The place is lively socially, guests play target shooting, mini golf, table tennis, four in a row, small basketball game, table football, chess and all this in a pastoral location... it is Quiet at night. On one side of the hotel flows an river that easy too get and on the other side a huge and high cliff. we liked the place.
It was a lovely hotel in the mountains with stunning views. The staff was super friendly and accommodating and the dinner was fantastic. My partner and I both enjoyed our stay very much and the staff was also super helpful.
Very nice family running the hotel, bus station to ski area Hochötz is right in front of hotel, supermarket 1min walk away, breakfast very tasty, rooms large with small "living room" space with sofa, etc.
