Lovely cottage, clean and cosy. The village is very nice but quite. There's only one Indian restaurant around but very good indeed! If you need more you can drive to Mikulov which is only 6km away.

This is a nice authentic place in a small Austrian town. You will have a separate part of the historic house (from 19th century) with a living room, separate bedroom and bathroom. Also, there is a nice inner courtyard and garden.
We also used once a tiny sauna made by the host in one of the houses's caves for free - nice place to relax (note that there is no pool or cold water to refresh yourself though).
Note also that there is not automatic heating in the living room, so you would need to use the fireplace (which was a pleasant experience for us). There are a lot of woods in the yard that you may use for this purpose. The owner also provided us with additional folding bed in the bedroom as the sofa is not big enough for a tall person.
Also, great area around with a lot of interesting places to see (by car).

There is this super nice owner of the property who lives literally next door and provides for virtually anyhing one could need. It is a bit unusual to offer breakfasts in an apartment-rent setting, however, having pre-bought frozen buns, capsule coffee, cereals, hams, and cheeses ready in the morning was a more than welcomed addition to our stay. We traveled to Staatz mainly to enjoy biking with our kids and for that the location is great. More locally, there is a reasonable restaurant nearby and Spar groceries store on the opposite side of the road. The garden was pleasant and well cared for, occasionally with 2 friendly dogs running around. The disposition of the apartment is well-picked with enough storage, a reasonably large bathroom, and main and secondary bedrooms (sofa bed in the kitchen) separated by a small hallway. There are also books and desk games and the property if the weather does not turn right during the stay.
Müllerstube, a property with a garden, is set in Neudorf bei Staatz, 32 km from Lednice Chateau, 17 km from MAMUZ Schloss Asparn, as well as 23 km from Colonnade na Reistně.
Weinhotel Rieder is located in Poysdorf, 15 km from Mikulov. A typical Heurigen wine tavern and the owner's private winery are 100 metres away and guests can also purchase wine there.

What did I like? The welcome drink was excellent. The owners make their own wine and the Grüner Veltliner was extraordinary. The (female) owner gave me a warm welcome; explaining also the history of the wine house. Check in was fairly quick and the room was large, with the option of air conditioning. The wifi signal was strong. Breakfast was above average.
