Poysdorf is in the middle of the Lower Austrian wine-growing...
Poysdorf is in the middle of the Lower Austrian wine-growing area "Weinviertel" (i.e. Wine Quarter), which specializes in white wines, although the red ones are also very tasty. I can recommend a wine-tasting session (10 different wines) at one of the "Heurigen" wine cellars. The (large) meat, sausage and/or vegetarian platters furnish a necessary "foundation" for all the alcohol. But the non-alcoholic grape juices are lovely too.

The breakfast was early, also convenient 1 night stay for people flying from Schwechat airport round midday. Good meals, friendly staff, free parking. Nice walks in the vicinity of the hotel.
