Great location to experience Hahndorf and the Adelaide Hills. Spa rooms had their own parking area which was a great benefit as parking is difficult in Hahndorf. Overall enjoyed the stay.
Located just 150 metres from Hahndorf’s main street and only 30-minute drive from central Adelaide, Amble at Hahndorf offers three types of accommodation that is ideally nestled in the Adelaide hills...

Some lovely shops and heritage buildings.
Some lovely shops and heritage buildings. The museum at the tourist information centre was great and the staff very helpful. Great antique shop and the German arms hotel had great atmosphere and food as did the German spoon restaurant. Otto's bakery were very accommodating when I ordered Bee string cakes for a day they don't normally bake them. They were to die for. The town gets very busy of a weekend end so get there early to get parking. Beautiful country side and surrounds when you go for a drive. The Beerenberg outlet was good for a visit as well.

Amble at Hahndorf was classy accommodation with all the right touches of homeliness. The kitchen had all you could want to cook your own meals and the bed was comfortable. The bedroom balcony looked out onto a lovely country vista with native birds, ducks and chooks. The location was quiet and within walking distance to the main street of Hahndorf which is well known for its eateries and gift shops.

Huge range of restuarants, cafes, and sweets shops selling delicious fudge. Other gourmet produce, such as quality cheese, can also be found close by. There are also some cool German craft shops, which are great for a browse and pretty expensive if you want to make a purchase. Monarto Safari Park is also a short drive from Hahndorf and well worth a visit.

Hahndorf is a cute and slightly kitsch town.
Hahndorf is a cute and slightly kitsch town. Weekends during the day the main street is bustling with holiday makers and day-trippers but at night it gets very quiet and almost has no ambience, which surprised us. Pre-booking tables for dinner on a Fri & Sat night is a must as is pre-booking wine tasting experiences around the area. Riding a bike is very easy and a beautiful way to see the Hills.
Everything was fine here. Near perfect location with secured off-street parking in the centre of Hahndorf's main street. Cottages were lovely & nicely furnished. Lovely gardens. Roomy kitchenette but no cooktop - only a microwave, but we knew this before we booked. So many restaurants, hotels & cafes to choose from only a couple of minutes walk away made cooking unnecessary. Hosts were friendly & welcoming.
A well located, clean and with all the facilities required, what’s not to like. The Owl Place is within easy walking distance of Hahndorf’s main street and this allows you to eat in or out, depending on your choice. The hosts are friendly making this an easy choice for a stay in the Adelaide hills.
Amazing! Vanessa had all aspects covered! Extras thought of. We loved the accommodation; comfy beds, fantastic kitchen, lounge area, bathroom! So close to Main Street of Hahndorf but far enough away to be quiet, relaxing, beautiful garden and wildlife! One of our best stays ever!
Room was spacious, modern and clean.
The water jet in the shower room was great.
TV screen was large with good cable TV channels.
There are ample parking space.
Hotel is located just behind the main street, convenient yet away from the crowd in the evening.
Great attention to detail. Everything we needed was in the villa including very nice welcome gifts and breakfast supplies. Wood fire was fantastic. Villa was in a quiet location but only a very short walk to the main street.
The location was close to the main street (attraction) at Hahndorf. Our unit had a view of the Gardens at the discovery park and was in a quiet location. Room was a good size, with kitchenette and good bathroom.
The accommodation was centrally located and the room was spacious and decorated in a way that felt very homely and extremely comfortable. Whilst centrally located the room was very quiet and secure.
Excellent location in central Hahndorf, good access to onsite parking, and all main street attcractions Spacious room with good bed. Basic but very servicable kitchenette facilities.
Large, new rooms. Hahndorf itself has history but has been overwhelmed in the tourism area, yet is very close to Adelaide which was our destination. An ideal overnight place for us.
