Everything here is exceptional. The service we received from every single staff member, from the front service desk to the breakfast hostess, to the cleaners and the dinner service people, was just incredible. The hotel is nearly 200 years old but is beautifully decorated and all amenities are perfect - a grand dame of a hotel! Great location to walk to the harbour and plenty of restaurants, Salamanca markets are also an easy walk away (5 mins). The in-house restaurant made us our favourite meal of our whole Tasmanian trip, with delicious local ingredients. We will be recommending Hadley’s to everyone!!

Great hotel with modern decor. Room is huge and beds are comfortable. Fantastic bars and dining options on-site. Friendly and helpful staff to recommend some hotel run local tours.

Budget-friendly hotel located at the heart of Hobart. I love how the main attractions and tour pick-up points are so accessible from this hotel! I'm also happy that there are a lot of restaurants and cafes around. Highly recommended when you visit Hobart!
Clean; well equipped apartment. Staff were awesome!
Clean; well equipped apartment. Staff were awesome! Unit was easily the most comfortable including the beds and bedding I have stayed in. Easy excess to the Highway to access Hobart and the tourist attractions by car. Restaurant a real bonus; need to supply own breakfast retirements.
Although Risdon has a poor reputation the hotel is in a very quiet location. It is very convenient to get around Hobart. The room has a separate bedroom and a great kitchen dining lounge room that is ideal for short stays. It is our second time staying there and we were not disappointed. As the light is on in the passageway for safety we took some cardboard to seal the light from the door as we are used to pitch black at night and we needed the air con running so had to leave the bedroom door open a little.
Booked 1 night then decided to stay for 3. If our next lot of accomodation was refundable we would have stayed for 6. This place is excellent for couples travelling together. Apartment is large with everything you need. Hotel is attached but not noisy and handy for meals. Cost was same as 2 bedroom tiny cabin. So much better value.Love this place. We will definitely recommend to family traveling to Hobart.
Very clean and convenient with a no hassle check-in via email.
Great to be able to stop after a long drive and just relax, go eat, have a few drinks.
And the best thing was the large comfy bed!!
Meals at Hotel were great, staff were friendly, and the staff member that served us in the bottleshop was amazing! She has the most outstanding customer service I have received in a long time.
Thank you 🙂
The rooms were not very inviting from the outside, grey breeze blocks, but inside was very good. Huge comfortable bed and all very clean . Small outdoor area with 2 chairs & table if it had been warmer. 2 minutes from the hotel which did usual pub food with big servings.
