It calls itself the birth place of Hercule Poirot and has a statue of the Belgian detective on the museum building next to the church. In the museum (currently closed for renovation) they also have a copy of the birth certificate of the fictional character invented by Agatha Christie: The birth date being the 1st of April 1850 :-)
