I LIKED THE PLACE WHERE THE APPARTMENT WAS. EASY TO FIND, TO PARK THE CAR , NICE NEIGHBOURHOOD. THE APPARTMENT WAS BIG ENOUGH, VERY VERY WARM (HOT WATER-HEAT ALL THE 24H). BIG BED AND COMFORTABLE MAT. THE SURPRISE WAS IN THE KITCHEN. WE FOUND MANY COFFEE CAPSULES , COFFEE MAKER, OVEN AND DISHWASHER! THE APPARTMENT HAD ALSO WASHING MACHINE AND SANITARY ITEMS. 3 PERSONS COULD STAY FOR SURE THERE. WHEN I VISIT AGAIN THE AREA, I WILL BOOK IT FOR SURE.

The accommodation is located against the border of Germany in Belgium in a former border post building. ideal base for day trips to Aachen, the northern Ardennes and the Eifel. the apartment consists of a corridor with a toilet and a former office with a high ceiling in which the space is divided into a lower part with a sofa, kitchenette, dining table and bathroom, and an upper part with a double bed. We were welcomed by a hospitable and helpful host who gave us an extensive tour with explanations and gave us tips on attractions in the area. A special mention: MANNEKENFrit, the mini restaurant (no, not a snack bar) where they serve excellent chips and hamburgers. Not cheap, but very good quality, and at 30 seconds walking distance from the apartment.
Set in Herbesthal in the Liege Province region, Le Gate One has a terrace. Offering a restaurant, the property also has a garden, as well as a sauna and a hot tub.
The traditional hotel (tradition could be seen at some places) has been renewed and made modern. The restaurant and breakfast was very good, there was enough space for numerous people. The swimming pool was a delight for the kids, unfortunately we could not use the sauna as we weren't there during its short opening hours but it looked great...!
Located near the German border all staff spoke German (and English, and French and Belgian, so we thought) and just a short walk to 2-3 supermarkets. All staff was very kind and kids-loving.
The Hotel is a very old establishment, that was remodelled and extended recently. We had an upper appartment on the side of the road. The flat wass very clean and maybe lacked some pictures and homelyness, but everything was really new and comfy.
The breakfast was a hotel breakfast in the main building. It was good, but nothing spetacular.
The pool was nice to cool down after a day of travel.
We got a room for three and got three single beds. The room was warm. It was very clean.
Stuff is friendly and they speak four languages: English, Dutch, French, and, of course German.
The hotel offers a pool, Which was great very clean, but not so warm for my kid.
The breakfast was plenty. The food was fresh.
Plenty and wide parking.
Very friendly staff. Food is delicious. Vegetarian options on the menu. A very relaxed and comfortable stay in a spotlessly clean hotel. We had a large family room that was carpet free - ideal for people with allergies. Ping pong was a big hit with the younger family members. Like Arnold Schwarzenegger once said - "I'll be back."
Staff was friendly and attentive. Rooms were clean and the restaurant was lovely. The breakfast options were fresh and varied. The hotel is close to the motorway but at the same time quiet. We didn't get a chance to try the pool but I would definitely recommend it!
Friendly reception, the personnel is very friendly. The rooms are clean and there's a big choice of room sizes. The restaurant of the hotel offers a good choice of food and the meals are delicious.
The hotel is in excellent condition, you can see that it is managed very well. Everything in good repair and super clean. Friendly staff, fluent in 4 languages. The room has a nice size desk.
Great hotel. Have stayed here many times when travelling through Europe. Always a nice welcome and the restaurant is excellent. We will be staying again.
