Modern hotel in renovated building. Very good breakfasts ( great freshly fried eggs plenty of meats cheeses etc,), big room dog friendly lovely staff. Little bit of traffic noise as close to the small town. Sloping ceiling so mind your head if tall. Would definitely stay again . NB restruant closed Mon and Tuesday

The accommodation is located against the border of Germany in Belgium in a former border post building. ideal base for day trips to Aachen, the northern Ardennes and the Eifel. the apartment consists of a corridor with a toilet and a former office with a high ceiling in which the space is divided into a lower part with a sofa, kitchenette, dining table and bathroom, and an upper part with a double bed. We were welcomed by a hospitable and helpful host who gave us an extensive tour with explanations and gave us tips on attractions in the area. A special mention: MANNEKENFrit, the mini restaurant (no, not a snack bar) where they serve excellent chips and hamburgers. Not cheap, but very good quality, and at 30 seconds walking distance from the apartment.
