The bed was super comfy and love the idea of a sauna in my room. Bathtub design was also very nice, enjoyed a bubble bath.
The lavender water and salt baths are a nice extra touch for the sauna and I had the best sleep in days. Thank you for your service!

The breakfast was so much beyond any expectations -- I could stay next time only for the breakfast itself! It was homemade with lots of varieties, nicely served, and delicious. I wonder how this breakfast is still economical for the house...

The apartment was just adorable. Plenty of space for 2 people. Quiet, peaceful location. Lovely little patio and yard, but weather precluded us from using it. It was spotless as well. It is considered a Holiday Rental, so if you have a car to bring along food/beverages, that would be helpful. Annie does provide an a la carte breakfast for a fee. We didn’t get it, so I can’t review. There is tea and coffee available for free, and some reasonably priced beverages in the fridge. You can walk into the town (about 1//2 mile). Shops, fantastic Gelateria (tricky to find!), a convenience store, beautiful cathedral. Didn’t have the time to visit or do much bc of our short stay. The restaurant near the lodging is fantastic! Make a reservation if you plan on going. We got lucky that there was one table available. When the weather is nice, there are plenty of outdoor seats. Annie is very responsive to questions, and a lovely woman. Some of the apartments are on a second floor, so be sure to ask if going up stairs is a factor. Highly recommend this facility!

The space was impressively vast, offering an abundance of room for movement and relaxation. Its layout was meticulously arranged, ensuring optimal functionality and comfort. Not only did we find all the amenities we required, but we were pleasantly surprised by the additional conveniences provided. Our host exuded warmth and hospitality, readily assisting us with any inquiries or requests.
The location is pretty close to the city which is a plus and there is plenty of street parking.
Upon stepping into the apartment, we were greeted by immaculate cleanliness and well-maintained furnishings. Every corner bore testament to the care taken in its upkeep, instilling a sense of reassurance and ease. Remarkably, even for my visually impaired wife, navigating through the rooms posed no challenge, attesting to the thoughtful design and accessibility of the space.
I would definitely come back to stay here again.
The bathroom had mold on the walls.
The bed was no boxspring but 10 cm from the ground.
A lot of steps inside the room.
Old furniture.
everything was tired, old and dirty.
Time to completely renovate the place!

This is a lovely town with lots of beautiful areas for walking a short, or long distance. The Fenikshof has great food and beer, and the local frituur (near the Sports Hall) had perfect Belgian frites. The abbey is a must see and the night we were there, they were having a silent movie festival with the beautiful pipe organ providing live music!
Our room was very quiet and functional.
We appreciated the coffee- and tea-making facilities (Senseo machine and kettle).
Breakfast buffet offered a great choice
The hotel is a great departure point for shorter and longer walks to the historical center of Grimbergen and the green surroundings with waterways and mills.
Visiting the Sunday market, which was really big and varied for the size of the town, is another great activity!
We booked one night before and value was great for the last-minute-price.
I would like to come again to this beautiful establishment in the quiet Grimbergen. Mister Jan and all the staff were helpful and friendly. The room was large, spacious, clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the variety was sufficient. I had dinner at the restaurant, it was really nice. I definitely recommend it.
Perfect
I booked this 2 star hotel because I wanted to spend the day in Meise Botanical garden. From the garden to the hotel is like 4-5 km drive. There are 3 buildings and a spa. I was in #82 the superior room
Very clean
Friendly staff

Great bath tub
Delicious breakfast
I do recommend it.
The rooms were very beautiful and spacious. It was extremely clean and everything was available. Breakfast was excellent. The Surroundings are beautiful. The location is excellent even for people willing to visit Brussels city. Grimbergen has a few very nice restaurants.
Nice hotel room - premium one, but worth the extra money. Great SPA area with several pools and jakuzi, and varios aromas in saunas with or without steam and even a dark and silent meditation room with waterbeds.
Clean room with tea making facilities and good bathroom. Very good breakfast with lots of choice. We had asked for a quiet room and were given a room at the back of the hotel which was perfect.
The spa is excellent and really exceeded expectations. Even the spa restaurant was good, which they often aren’t. Close to the centre of Grimbergen and has the usual things you need close by.
Very pleased they could accommodate our request for a gluten-free vegan breakfast! We were also very happy with the nice treat they gave us for the wellness Thermae Grimbergen. Merci :)
