A magnificent and elegant dining room! The breakfast was very good with a wide variety available.

Ieper holds a horrendous history when it comes down to the tragic loss of life. But on the other hand it has a sense of peace when you walk around. The battles took place 108 years ago, so its good that there are still preserved sites to visit that this is never forgotten.

Really appreciated the additional space as often "family rooms" are just double rooms with an additional bed squeezed in. The breakfast was nothing fancy but what was there was good and there was plenty of it. Staff were all incredibly helpful. The Theme Park behind the hotel was well worth the visit and we spent a whole day there with a very happy 11-year old. Hotel was a 5-10 minute drive from the centre of Ypres.

The owners were attentive, charming and so very helpful it felt as if we were old friends rather than guests at their outstanding establishment. The breakfast was superb and nothing was too much trouble. Both Claire and I said we would stay there again and in fact are booking for a stay later in the year when we travel in Europe.

Very clean and new. Unusual check in, you knock on the door of the owners house two doors down but she was lovely and came and showed us around. Very welcoming.
