we especially liked the host, who made you feel very welcome and at ease to use all the facilities. The accommodation is new, modern and yet cosy and integrates perfectly into the nature. the highlight was the dinner we booked! our boys (age 4) did get a special menu which we highly appreciated. it was an overall perfect culinary experience in combination with wellness and and a comfortable stay. we will be back.

the house was very nice and could very well fit 3 families with kids. there is ample space for all to enjoy. We spent time in the wonderful dinning table eating or playing games while the kids were playing in the play room. We also enjoyed a lot the billiard. location was nice and quite, still close to Bastogne.
the host was helpfull and was answering all our questions. Despite language barriers we could have the necessary communication (the booking.com messaging app with translation certainly helped)

The gite is in a quiet, rural location, but parking was easy and the surroundings were very beautiful. The lady that owned the property was very attentive and helpful. I speak some French which was useful, but not really essential. I slept very well and while we had a little issue with the wifi initially it was easily and quickly resolved. I had a very early start but Madame provided breakfast for me that was superb. I then went into Bastogne to visit some sites relating to the Ardennes offensive in 1944.

Very nice, cozy, clean, in a small village so very peaceful. The heating was on, so it was nicely warm. Only about 15min drive from Bastogne. The owners are very nice, it's a pity that they only speak French. But they explain easily, slowly, they show everything, so it's not a problem. They live in the same house, so it was not a problem that we arrived later due to traffic jams. We were offered breakfast, but we didn't order one. There was a small welcome suprise, peanuts and candies, also coffee, tea, sugar at disposal, and kitchen well equipt. Towels, soup and shampoo also at disposal. We were very satisfied 🙂
