everything.... Atmosphere is amazing. Breakfast and panorama lounge are just perfect. Maybe I was really tired when arriving to Brussels:), but I think it was the quality of bed that make me sleep like an angel.

Wemmel is a suburban area beyond the circular Brussels road.
Wemmel is a suburban area beyond the circular Brussels road. Once you pass the junction from the Atomium area you feel you are in a different world. It is still urban, but is less rushed and more up market. The houses straddling the road from the city to Wemmel are varied in style and interesting.
There are shops, a post office and plenty of restaurants. Plenty of buses go into the area from the end of the metro ( line 6)-240,241,242 and 243. They are not plentiful ( particularly on Sundays)but about every 20 minutes. The walk to the metro is about 2 miles and can be done quickly down the main road.
It is a quiet suburban area which you would be most likely to use as a retreat from Brussels. The Atomium , Exhibition area and Stadium are the nearest tourist sites. We used it to visit the Johnny Halliday Exhibition there.

It's a satellite town on the outskirts of Brussels well-...
It's a satellite town on the outskirts of Brussels well-served by buses to the centre or a bit further in by tram. It's very close to Atomium and Mini Europe but easy to get into town if you want to explore the centre. Easy to drive to also. The place has a number of restaurants, cafes and supermarkets making it ideal for a family stay.
We had a great 3-nights stay again at La Roseraie. Breakfast was good and fresh. Spacios room with big bed. Good shower in the bathroom. We slept really well because bed was extremely comfortable and room was silent. Hotel is clean and staff is really nice and helpfull. The area is nice and it takes only about 15 minutes to walk to metro station. If that is too much then there is also a bus to downtown and that stop is just next to the hotel.
We always take a room in this hotel when visiting Brussels. Everything is really good in this hotel. Beds are good, the surroundings is peaceful. Everything is clean. Breakfast is really good and fresh. Last but not least the staff (owners i believe) are really nice and helpful. They helped us a lot now when we had to catch a train and there was a strike and demonstrations in Brussels centrum. Thank you so much :)
A very cute, charming, family home hotel. It is run by two generations of family members and they all made us feel like at home, comfortable and attended politely and efficiently to all of our questions and needs. The hotel, the rooms and facilities were better than our expectations and I will highly recommend it to everybody. A wonderful weekend at a beautiful hotel.
very nice hotel, clean rooms, fresh bed linen, nice bathroom, fresh towels, delicious breakfast, the owners very polite, really what to say more- calm and nice stay, i will come again - one of the best hotels in BXL and surrounding ( Wemmel) where I stayed and only 15 minutes walk from the metro
Lovely hotel in a great area. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. Nice big bathroom with a bath. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was delicious! The location was good - easy access from the ring road, and parking was easy too. I will stay here again!
We had booked this hotel for car parking, but the hotel does not allow us to park our car in front of the hotel. They told us to park elsewhere. This is a problem. Also, there is no hair dryer. Apart from these, we are generally satisfied.
A very pleasant flat in the Wemmel area. Spacious and well equipped. Plenty of restaurants in the area. Catch the 240,241,242, 243 from the King Baudoin metro station at the end of Line 6. Economical. Near to the atomium and park areas.
I liked everything! It is a beautiful boutique hotel managed by a very helpful, smily, positive and fantastic manager, Natalie! Thank you for everything! We felt like home!
Excellent small hotel with staff that makes you really feel welcome. Beatiful characteristic mansion. No room is the same. Simply lovely. Highly recommended
