The location is amazing, right by the river on a quite street and with a breathtaking view towards the green trees, the river and the cliffs across it. The breakfast is included with a very good choice of options and huge portions!
The staff was really kind and helpful. They let us leave our backpacks after check out without any issues. They even gave us a bottle of cold water for the walk in the hot day!
We will definitely stay again as the city has a lot to offer - nature, tranquil atmosphere, museums and good food!

Except the man in his late fifties who was either the manager or owner...why not him. I was talking with the receptionist, he had no idea what for but I'm English and have lived in Bulgaria for 17 years and speak Bulgarian, something he did not know......he entered and said very abruptly...finish that now I have work for you.....ok he's some type of boss but my conversation was important as should be the way clients and staff are treated.
BUT
..all the other staff were WONDERFUL.
Friendly, effective and accommodating.
Smiles and chat which for me, traveling alone is very important.
If you do decide to go, the evening food menu includes ribs. They were delicious 😋

Lovech is a beautiful city as it has its own history related to Bulgarian. Just visit the museums, old town, the fortress and don't get away from the traditional restaurants (there are really good ones).
At the area just go to Krushuna waterfalls, Devetashka cave and if get lucky and interested in, maybe you'll able to visit some hidden gems :)

We were late for just over an hour due to unforseen circumstances. We hadn't realised that the host had waited over an hour in the car park to make sure that we had a free good size parking spot for our large van.
He went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was comfortable. On reflection we should have given him 10 for excellent, instead of 9 for, superb.
We definitely recommend the apartment, and will fo back there when we are in Lovech again. The apartment was lovely.😀

Lovech was a charming town, with historic areas and surrounded by nature. If we stayed another day we could have explored all of the nature areas around which there was a lot very close by. It was a charming, quite historic town and would be great for anyone who enjoys culture, nature and relaxation.

Quite a nice town with an authentic feel to it.
Quite a nice town with an authentic feel to it. The old part of town, the covered bridge, the fortress and the city park are to be explored and the city museums to be visited. The region offers places one should make time for too - Devetashka cave, Krushuna waterfalls, Kukrinsko hanche.
Over all a traveler can have a really well-rounded 3 day trip here.

It's a nice small town with a lovely fortress and with a nice pedestrian area. Around you have plenty of caves and cascades that you can visit. There is also a very nice Eco Trail called Panega Eco Tail, 60 km away.

We were there for one evening and the following morning only. This was a stop on our way back to Sofia. A lovely village we walked around, enjoyed meeting people along the way (smiling and waving since noone spoke English), playing with dogs we met along the way. One puppy joined us on our walk for about an hour. It was great. We saw the covered bridge, and the fortress the village is faomous for. But I don't think there is much else to do here. But for a one night stop along the way, it was perfect.
The hotel was quiet, exceptionally clean. A feast for the eyes, as one does not see often, anymore, a room that will soon belong in a museum, however with everything working perfectly. The room looked like we were visiting grandparents, charming, lots of character, but with the advantage of a strong AC and a well equiped bathroom! We loved it so much, and a stroll in the neighbourhood was also welcomed, after being 6 hours in the car.
Lovely view as well!
Very clean and cosy. Parking space in front of the building, where the owner of the apartment arranged everything so we can park there as soon as we arrive.
Many things to visit in one weekend: Hisaria Fortress, Covered Bridge, Etnografic Museum and also close to Lovech: Prohodna Cave, Geopark Iskar, Krushuna Falls and Devetashka Cave.
The staff was very friendly. The room was super clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable. The location is amazing! The look and feel of the house is definitely reflecting the old Bulgarian traditional architecture and interior.
Great location. Lovely building, parking space close, even tho it might be tricky in the narrow streets. Lovely building, old so it's not as spacious as some might desire. The bathroom is very small but it's perfectly fine.
Very nice room, good size, mix of old and new.
Very relaxing on the balcony during the day, when you can hear the river next to the hotel.
Great location, within walking distance from the covered bridge.
Very good food.
Perfect place to explore Lovech old city, and the natural beauties of the region. Good kitchen and very friendly, also professional owner, staff! We had short but great time. Thank you!
The hotel was in a good position
The staff were very helpful and friendly really nice people. My wife and I ate our evening meal at the hotel and the food was excellent
