Juquei is a beautiful beach with good infrastructure in the surroundings. However, I was a little disappointed at the number of people listening music in high volume at the beach. The long, beautiful coast traces clean, sandy beaches. The waves are generally moderate, but it could get rough on windy days. There are not too many food vendors, but there's enough great choices to replenish long days of sunbathing.

The unit was clean, very comfortable, full kitchen, and the rooftop is just perfect for an afternoon drink, or a BBQ at night ( all the gadgets are provided). Parking was secure, no need to use the car, many restaurant a walking distance, as well supermarket.

You can walk down a road and across a footbridge to get to the beach, but it is not near the main part of the town. We didn't mind, but you do have a short drive to the main part of town. We appreciated the early check in and a room that could accommodate a knee injury. Great for pets!
