I love this motel. While older in style, it is well taken care of and each time i come here, there are improvements. It is affordable and located very close to shops and food establishments. It is owner run so you get a personal experience of him. He's friendly and helpful. The room is very clean; The bed is comfortable; the bedding, pillows and towels in the bathroom seem replaced recently which is much appricated; the room with one queen bed had lots of floor space and tv worked easily. This is the fourth or fifth time I've stayed and enjoy it more and more.

Way over priced. Would not recommend l. $256 for the room. No weekly or monthly rates. The bedroom had both beds facing each other. Weird. Again. Way over priced for the quality of a -1 star lodge. Customer service was mediocre at that.
Othello Tunnels are just 10 minutes’ drive from this Hope bed and breakfast. A fireplace, free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen cable TV are featured in all rooms.

Hope is a great town to visit, I love everything about Rambo so that’s the best place for that! Exploring and chilling around the river is highly recommended.
I was so sad when we found out that Othello Tunnels is permanently close, it was one of the attractions we wanted to visit

We picked Hope as an overnight stop but the setting among the mountains was lovely. The trails within walking distance of our accommodation were beautiful. We walked the section of the trans Canada trial that goes to the Othello tunnels. Unfortunately due to weather damage they were closed for repairs but the walk on the trail itself was well worth it amongst the trees with the river below. Very much worth a couple of day’s walking in the area.

Have stayed in Hope previously for 10 days to work and didn't explore all it has to offer. However, it was a very friendly city and very clean. there are many cool spots to hang out and rivers to sit by.
Had a quick breakfast at Rolly's...great service and good food.

Hope is a nice town where the two highways heading East split. It's a good place to spend a night in transit. Lots of gas stations, fast food, supermarket, some interesting shops, nice art-cinema. Nice view down by the river. Be careful of what motel you choose. Some are good, some are awful.

I have been to and through Hope many times.
I have been to and through Hope many times. For such a lovely location, it is strange they have never tried to "gussy" the town up more. It is dirty, dining is difficult, not much choice and mostly greasy spoon places. The whole look of Hope screams hopeless. Stop for gas, a pee or ice then keep driving.

There was an absolutely fabulous native goods store.
There was an absolutely fabulous native goods store. There were a number of chainsaw wood carvings all around the town, in the park in the middle of town on street corners and various businesses. They were advertising the 40th anniversary of Rambo first blood movie and had plans to do a walkabout for it in October. The park motel was in the centre of town with all the shops in walking distance. The motel staff was friendly and gave excellent service.
High Hopes B & B is beautiful. The house is very tastefully decorated and the views from all the windows are breathtaking.
The check in was very easy, Pauline was so welcoming and accommodating. A superb host!
Our room was so comfortable and we enjoyed the views from the lovely veranda.
The breakfast provided was delicious - what a great way to start the day.
we highly recommend this B&B - it has given us a whole new appreciation of Hope and the surrounding area. We will be back!
Graham is a very hospitable host. He welcomed us as soon as we booked and thanked us after our stay. This B&B is beautifully located on the bank of the Coquihalla River and conveniently close to the Othello Tunnels. There’s a one of a kind outside shower we definitely want to go back and spend some time in! Everything was clean and comfy. Thank you for sharing your unique and unforgettable home with us Graham (and Keeper). We hope we can stay again soon.
This location was convenient for us to get to and was right in the main road in Hope.
The motel is old and it shows in much of the construction and utilities but the beds, toilet and appliances were all new and updated. The room included lamps and clocks with wireless chargers built in for, Roku TV connected to WiFi for streaming access, rainfall showerhead, brand new full size fridge.
It was more than we expected for an inexpensive room.
Slumber Lodge is very suitable for an overnight stay. We had a room with a fridge and microwave. The bed was comfortable. The desk staff helpful. When we arrived the internet was not working because of something a previous guest had done. However, the problem was fixed quickly by the desk staff. We would stay there again when stopping overnight in Hope.
The room was clean. There were some renovations and newer furnishings for an older hotel. It was in a quiet, but convenient location. The room had a fridge, which is all we needed for our one night stay on our way home from the coast. Good value for money. Helpful staff. Beautiful garden at the entryway.
Wasn’t in a bad location but
Wasn’t the best either... if you want pics I have them ... dirty bathroom fan and filthy a c filter , with asthma it was horrible stay to say the least ... and not on Yelp... bbb should be all over this
Garbage and junk all around the property. Blood spatter on the ceiling of the room from iv drug users. Someone knocked on our door at 10pm at night looking for "Tina". My family was quite nervous to stay in this hotel.
nothing. Best reviews in Hope is why we stayed there. People outside yelling half the night and police had to come to hotel at 4:00 am for a problem with someone yelling the hallway. no sleep due to noise
Breakfast was fantastic. Views were spectacular. Close to the main town and restaurants 2 min drive. Loved the jug of water in the fridge. Hope was a lovely small place.
This was an excellent over night location and hotel for a long road trip. The room was very clean and well maintained. Check in staff were very friendly and fast.
