Crazy Creek Resort, hotel in Malakwa

Situated within 38 km of The Enchanted Forest Revelstoke and 40 km of Revelstoke Railway Museum, Crazy Creek Resort features rooms in Malakwa.

We really needed to get out....it was a vacation before our busy season. It had ample space for our family of 6, 4 kids and 2 adults. One bonus would have been an actual oven, and a BBQ:) we had hamburgers and no BBQ... It was a very clean suite and lots of natural light:) The nice thing was that the pools and change rooms were definitely family friendly, you didn't feel like you have to completely keep the kids quiet and sitting without making any noise, although in respect to others sometimes we had them quiet down a bit more, with no splashing:)

Noah's Ark Campground, hotel in Malakwa

Just 3 km from Enchanted Forest and Sky Trek Adventure Park, this Revelstoke property offers shared bathroom facilities complete with showers. Free WiFi is included in each rustic cottage.

The cottage itself was cute and might be good in summer, but not in winter. We talked to the owner? or some staff member? and he was really nice on the phone.

Three Valley Lake Chateau, hotel in Malakwa

Featuring an indoor pool and hot tub, this hotel is located on Three Valley Lake, 19 km from Revelstoke. Free WiFi is provided in public areas.

The hotel itself is older and I was expecting a little bit more from the room but other than that, I loved the vibe of the place. The ghost town right next to the hotel was worth the visit as well. Would go back.

Malakwa is a very small place, but a convenient area to stay if you want to avoid the complications of a city. There's a convenience/grocery store and a small cafe that serves home cooking. For history buffs there's an interesting attraction commemorating the "Last Spike" (completion of the railroad).
