Close to all the attractions, shops and restaurants Westport has to offer. Free parking, can park at your door, easy to unload bags. Friendly service. Wifi was fine. Quiet at night for sleeping. Very little traffic noise being a small town. TV was fine with good selection of channels, clear reception. Heat/cool unit in main window looked nearly new and worked fine. We appreciated the refrigerator as well.

Harlem Stonegate B&B, hotel in Westport

Harlem Stonegate B&B has a fitness room and air-conditioned guest accommodation in Portland, 34 km from Smiths Falls Bascule Bridge, 34 km from Heritage House Museum and 40 km from Perth Museum.

Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, yoghurt, and granola, followed by a very large pan-sized bacon, egg and garlic souffle. Property was extremely quiet and hosts were most welcoming and wishing to make us very comfortable. Property was very rural and lovely.

Westport is a small community in a beautiful setting along the shores of Lakes. There are a couple of cafes for coffee, bagels, sandwiches, treats etc. We enjoyed eating at the Lost Penny Pub. If you stroll around the area you will find small boutique shops. The little harbour is picturesque and the Foley Conservation area is a beautiful area for hiking etc. A local supermarket if you need to get your own supplies. We will definitely try to visit this area again.

Lovely small town on a shore of large lake.

Lovely small town on a shore of large lake. Quaint historic buildings, a scenic location, and great for paddling/fishing on the Rideau river/canal system and hiking trails at nearby Foley Mountain Conservation Area and Murphy's Point Provincial Park. Has a higher end hotel (good restaurant), a budget motel, a variety of eateries, and a few stores. However, quite a few businesses were closed or closed early. We were unable to find anywhere that opened early for breakfast (we had to buy food in the supermarket), or could serve us an ice cream on a lovely sunny afternoon (we had to drive to nearby Newboro). Not sure if this is a result of covid or just post-labour day shutdown. However, in late September/early October, this area is likely to attract leaf peepers, who might be disappointed...

We went to the Cove Inn for a Blues concert. They hold Blues on the Rideau concerts and both the food and the groups they bring in are great. Westport was quite quiet at this time of year but the Tangled Garden restaurant was open and they always have good food.

The Westport/Newboro area is very pretty and my husband and I visited both during our get-away weekend. We have stayed in Westport in the past during the summer and love the little town for it's quaint atmosphere, little boutiques and water views. Before descending into town we enjoyed a lovely Fall hike on the Foley Mountain Conservation area where we took some pictures of Westport below us from Spy Rock. We stayed in Newboro this time and enjoyed our accomodations and delicious dinner at the Stagecoach Inn.

The stay was amazing. Pristine clean, newly renovated, spacy cottadge with magnificent view on the lake. Screened veranda. Large wooden deck to park a boat and have a nice swim right off the deck. 10 min drive to Westport with numerous restaurants, local breweries and wineries. Foley conservation area with trails and fantastic lookout close by. Super-welcoming and friendly hosts taking care of everything in a proactive manner. Fast internet, free Netflix, big screen TV.. Highly recommend.

Is industrial rustic chic a thing? lol. The loft space was incredible for my wife, toddler, baby and myself. Stephanie made us all feel welcome and at home. Perfectly laid out space and the most comfortable sofa bed I’ve ever sat on. Location couldn’t be any better. 2min walk to the best coffee shop and pub in town. 5min walk to the marina. 5min drive up the hill to Foley mountain. If we’re ever in Westport again I hope to stay again.

The Victorian-themed decor was enchanting, creating a charming and cozy atmosphere. Our suite was spacious and well-equipped with a mini fridge, a sink, and a microwave. The bathroom was spacoius, well-lit, and very clean. The location was a highlight, situated in the heart of Westport. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. We will definitely return.

It was in a great location, close to restaurants and the lake. You can walk pretty much to anything in Westport. The Victorian Luxury Suites is an old house that has been converted into a boutique hotel. It was very nicely done. Our room (The Loft) was very spacious with a full kitchen, living room and bedroom. Just what we were looking for.

Lovely old inn with all the funky uniqueness you'd expect in an older building. Yet everything worked as you would expect in a modern hotel - no issues with the WIFI, plumbing, A/C or any other aspect of the stay. Staff at the check-in were very friendly and welcoming, getting our stay off to an excellent start.

The property is a beautiful old house and the suites, which are spacious and very clean, offer modern amenities. We could walk to all restaurants in Westport as well as some wonderful shops. The Pinecone is well worth a visit. If you want to eat at the Cove, you should make reservations as they’re very busy.

The woman that runs it is very kind. I believe she employs some of the long term residents, which gives the place a very friendly feeling. The location is a good one in Westport. One of the only places that allows dogs. The air conditioning looked old but in fact it was quite good at cooling the room.

The man was really nice. Ioved the fact that you walk right out of your door and you can sit outside. I particularly loved that we have the option to do a camp fire out back. The man even helped is to get it started. Walking distance to Westport downtown and the waterfront.

Preserved the feel of an early 1900s hotel, yet felt brand new. Spotlessly clean, and generous selection of coffee/ tea in the kitchenette. And the bathroom puts many chains to shame. Located within walking distance of local attractions. Would for sure book again!

Best value in town. Location ideally located for exploring quaint town of Westport (5 minute walk from the town centre) and paddling on the Rideau Lakes. Large parking lot which was easily able to accommodate our two vehicles.

Really, the only good thing to say about the hotel was that the small fridge worked well (very cold!) and there were a lot of satellite channels available on the TV
