Fast check in,clean ans specious rooms, great location.
As a business trip the locale was of limited concern.
As a business trip the locale was of limited concern. It is a vacation destination for summer and winter activities and is known for February 2 Wiarton Willy. One problem for early risers is a limited breakfast option. The main street reconstruction a few years past has it looking very welcoming with on street parking. For a small community it gives the impression of having held on through the pandemic.

Wiarton was the spot we choose because of the Shenstone Inn's reasonable pricing and central location to many nice beaches and attractions/towns in the area.
Wiarton itself surprised us with the nice waterfront and the Spirit Rock Conservation Area just north of town.

Main street is under heavy construction right now.
Main street is under heavy construction right now. Not a lot of choices for dining out, but that probably had a lot to do with the pandemic, the construction and the time of year we visited (after labor day). Has a Tim Horton's beer and liquor store and a grocery store.

There really isn’t much to do in Wiarton.
There really isn’t much to do in Wiarton. It’s a good hub for all your day trips in the Bruce. Tobermory is about 45mins away. Sauble Beach is maybe 20mins. There aren’t really any restaurants so be prepared with food!

The city of Wiarton was not really interesting.
The city of Wiarton was not really interesting. It is small and maybe the only thing good is the beach but unfortunately, it was flooding this weekend and we could not go to the beach.
One afternoon there it is enough. There is better beach and better walk around than in Wiarton.
I really liked the style of the place. My niece enjoyed her “princess” room and the unicorn. Location was perfect. It was quiet and close enough for day trips to Tobermory and Sauble Beach. If you love stargazing, this is the perfect place. You can enjoy the night sky from the hot tub, balcony or cozy by the fire pit. Property owners mentioned about water smell due to mineral content but it wasn’t bad at all. We barely noticed it. Property owners were very prompt with their reply and assistance.
the location, the view from the suite upstairs we were able to see some cows! the service, they were very accommodating even extended our check out and let us use the bbqs after a late check in, oh how could I forget bout the hammocks!! so much fun and relaxing and not too far from tobermory, the tub was big enough that I could take a bath :), the fireplace was really nice, the bed was so comfortable will definitely stay again as a stop along the way to bruce penisula
The gentleman at the front desk was wonderful. Such a nice, welcoming man.
The property was beautiful, had a gorgeous lake view room.
The room was cozy and welcoming, having a nice sized balcony was a big plus.
The pool was a nice extra, to enjoy some sun.
The small manmade beach on the property was a nice spot to read a book by the water.
The place was all around a wonderful getaway touch to our trip up north!
My fiancé and I will definitely be coming again!
It has a pool. Co-owner Mentor couldn't have been more pleasant. It was the May long weekend and the owners were prettying up the front with flowers in the walkway pots. There was a/c in my room and the view from the balcony was spectacular ... looking out over the water and the large expanse of greenery. It was close to downtown Wiarton, but not close enough that it was disturbing. It was an easy drive to all the amenities, including the large community park.
Located directly on the water, in the tranquil Wiarton, the accomodation simply offers everything you could wish for a relaxing vacation. The apartment is a jewel, clean, comfortable and the view of the lake is simply fantastic. The sunset can be enjoyed wonderfully comfortable on a jetty directly on the lake. And not to forget, Patty, the host, is very reliable and extremly helpful.
Unfortunately in the booking add, it said there was a restaurant, but upon arrival we found there wasn't.
Being that it was last minute to book a place and in the peek of the season, we were happy they could accommodate us for the night. Best though, the beds were very comfortable and clean. The proximity to other areas of interest was good.
Very friendly welcoming and helpful staff. The pool was great and clean. The outdoor and lake area were beautiful. Very close to many great sites like Wiarton, lion head, Indian falls etc. Easy to park. Kitchen area had all the utensils including bbq set and utensils.
This place is exceptional. Great value for money if you have 4 or more people. Host is friendly! They have a fantastic firepit with the bay view right in front of the location. Would recommend to friends. Wish they had jet ski rental.
This hotel/location is very well kept and has a really nice atmosphere. You can tell the owners take a lot of pride in their hotel. As well, nice owner who is friendly. People visiting the hotel were very nice too.
Clean and quiet, good location near downtown, 2 minutes drive to almost everything, such as the Foodland market and the bay and park. Great rate compared to other hotels around, we stayed two days here.
We stayed here after a long day of hiking, the host was very welcoming & the room was very comfortable - absolutely loved the electric fireplace! Would definitely stay again if ever back in this area.
We loved the area of this property, very quite and relaxing with a beautiful view towards the lake. I definitely recommend coming here with a group since there’s a lot of space.
The hotel is ok, not the greatest but the cheapest at the time from what we looked at around that region. The room was clean and the staff was friendly.
