We had a nice, roomy apartment with a bathroom, two bedrooms and a balcony for half the price of two double rooms in Bern Ibis budget hotel, which was a nice surprise. The location is excellent, in a silent street, a 5 min walk from the train station. I liked the relaxed atmosphere of the lounge. The host at the unified bar/reception was kind and helpful.

Good central location, between historic heart of the city and the main railway station. Very happening restaurant on the ground floor but the bedrooms are quiet. You get a free pass on local transport in the price of your accommodation. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The hotel is conveniently located near the bus and tram stops. I love the music in the air, being right next to the Basel music academy. The breakfast had delicious and fresh options. The bar at the hotel has excellent service and desserts. Free bike rental and Basel card are great bonuses.
