Mountain location; quietness except for the lovely cow bells; well-appointed apartment; easy access to the apartment from the car (parked right out front); no stairs to climb; 20 minute drive to Lucerne; lovely clean apartment with a great kitchen. Most importantly, the host Claudia was delightful and friendly.
Hotel De la Paix is located in the heart of Lucerne, near the lion monument, at the entrance of the old quarter and 200 metres from the famous Vierwaldstätter lake.

The view was incredible. We loved sitting on the balcony and taking it all in. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff were very nice and helpful. Hotel is in a great location. It's only a 15 minute walk from the station. Would love to come back and visit again someday!
