I’ve traveled various places around the world since the 1970’s and never encountered a more helpful and cheerful manager as Adam. He provided detailed maps and advice before we arrived. When we reached the lodge it was as if we were meeting a friend.
The two Maria’s and Nathalie also were very friendly and helpful. The room was well positioned to access restaurants, shopping, public transportation and to admire the waterfall from our balcony.
Rooms were comfortable and a lovely hot breakfast was included. It was such a wonderful stay!!

The single room was TINY and not updated since the 80s. But it was clean; the sheets were perfectly white and the room had a stunning view of the waterfall. Breakfast was fine, but nothing to write home about as the only hot option were soft-cooked eggs.

This property is in such an awesome location with amazing views and the person at the front desk was great; he was very friendly and went out of his way to assist us. We stayed in a family suite with a queen bed downstairs and two twin beds in the loft. The room was great with a balcony and views on both sides. Waking up to falling snow and views of the snow capped mountains was amazing.
Also loved that the hotel is pet friendly and right next to the Wengen station.

I absolutely loved the amazing views! They’re stunning and hard to believe is real. One of the best experiences I have ever had in my life!! I would stay at this hotel forever if I could. Wonderful place.
It is an old house but renovated as an IKEA showroom inside.
It is an old house but renovated as an IKEA showroom inside. They have everything in the kitchen except microwave. There are a double bed and a single bed. The sectional couch is big enough for one adult or 2 kids. Grocery and bus is nearby but better to rent a car if you want to stay here. Parking is tight. The host is excellent as long as you can get a hold of her. There should be some check in/checkout instruction provided to the renter. It has wifi but the passcode is not written anywhere so the host has to give it to you. The kitchen has everything including the spices and basic grocery for you to cook rice or pasta. I would say it is better to have a car if staying here as there are no store within walking distance.
